Came for a drink. Excellent choice of beers (around 8 keg taps and 1 cask beer). Open Mic night was excellent. Lots of local talent on show! Beers were excellent! Great atmosphere and very welcoming! Dog friendly too!

We came here on New Year's Day and had the most fantastic evening. The bar has such a great vibe, matched by great staff. We got chatting with Andy who was really fun and friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced and the bar had darts and table games! We'll be back x

Our sort of place. Casual dining. Staff were excellent and accommodating. Busy place with bar downstairs. Good portions of delicious tasting food. Opted for Steak pie and veggie burger. Only issue that could be improved was the sticky tables. Good range of reasonable priced beers on menu.

Loved this bar/restaurant for years and was looking forward to visiting it again with friends this time too. But they've stopped doing food which was disappointing as it was always lovely and a good start to the night. We still had lots of fun in the bar and music was fab. Would be 5 stars if they had been doing food 😁👍

A friend recommended we come here for steaks as he had a great experience recently. We had a rump and a sirloin, both washed down with a wheat beer and a local beer. We were not disappointed. Food was excellent, seasonal veg was delicious. Steaks brilliant. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend. Menu caters for all but can only comment on the steaks we had. Will definitely be back. Thank you Skiing Doo.

Cute little place, nice selection of meals. Great portion sizes too. We hadn't booked, but were the last table of walk ins allowed, so they were fully booked on a Monday night.
Staff were pleasant and food came out quickly and piping hot.

Atmosphere, staff, regulars, ales, shots. Wednesday is jam night and a fine night it is. Bit of a tricky one to find if the upstairs is closed but don't let that put you off. It's a rare place and all the better for it.
