Beautiful hotel with great views and friendly staff. Room quite large and well stocked with refreshments. Beds comfortable and bathroom had really nice shower gel and soap with lovely fluffytowels. Restaurant stunning and food really good. Package two days stay was absolutely amazing. Free bottle of wine to drink in room. Nice balcony for drinks outside bar. Will definitely go back again.

Lovely friendly hotel with beautiful views. We had a canalside view & enjoyed our trip immensely. Only difficulty was the heat in the bedroom ( which faces South) but who would expect such high temperatures in April/May! Our view was onto the canal with rolling fields & tiny lambs & mum's in the field opposite.|All staff were friendly & approachable & dinner was excellent & good value for rge early deal. |Thank you all & we would definitely return.

Good 2 night stay, we had room 326 once we found it we were ok. Good location at the side so no noise from the road. Also room was always really warm. Bit of a vlean in the bathroom needed, extractor fan was full of fluff and a few cobwebs. In the main not an issue fir us but those with Asthma may say otherwise. Bar staff lovely as are reception staff. We has breakfast one morning. Good choice and again staff lovely. Lovely walk along the canal into Skipton. We used the pool one afternoon, lovely and warm.

Booked for afternoon tea in the conservatory overlooking the canal. We had a voucher from Your Harrogate, which was excellent value. It was a beautiful day, the food and the service was excellent. The two lovely young ladies waiting on were friendly and professional, perfect day x

My wife and I visited for two nights over the weekend and things could not have been any better in any department from booking to leaving. We stayed on a Groupon offer and it was excellent value for money. We spoke prior to arrival with Lynsey and requested a higher room and that is what we received, any higher and we would have been with the Angels. When away you always try to identify your room from the outside, no problem for us, the round window right at the top. Kyra on reception was ‘Top Notch’ and we enjoyed our stay so much we are returning this weekend for Sunday Lunch another Groupon deal and have also an afternoon tea in our Groupon bank.Thanks again for an excellent stay and see you shortly.

|On arrival we were greeted by Sharon on reception,our 2 day Easter break could not have been any better what a wonderful lady , helped us no end,|Our room no305 was big clean and very comfortable and wow under floor heating in the bathroom..|We used the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, & jacuzzi on both days absolutely brilliant. |Had dinner in the restaurant 2 course and large glass of wine x2 £37 pound lovely |And what can't you say about the breakfast, brilliant and all the waitresses very friendly and efficient, |Visted the bar on one occasion again great staff and good vino oh and a pleasant singer to boot. Would not hesitate to recommend this well run hotel ||

I have to say it's a mixed bag for this review. We had a Canal view room and the views from our room were stunning. The bar and restaurant were very nice and the restaurant also overlooked the canal which was lovely. The breakfast and evening meal was excellent. Our room was quite tatty in places the bath panel skin was peeling off and lampshades were also completely worn.The spa area also looked tatty in places. Not major I know!! I understand the hotel is under new ownership and they are refurbishing it step by step. The reason for the mixed bag review is simple for all its little issues the staff were excellent and my wife and I would definitely stay again as the location is amazing. You can leave the car and walk along the canal into Skipton. It takes 30 - 40 minutes. This hotel will be top notch when the refurb is completed.

Had a lovely mini break with the doggies!! Should have renamed it the doggy hotel as they were so welcomed by all the staff from all teams. Big thanks to Sharon for going above and beyond for us (especially as I kept putting key card next to phone n cancelling it so needing new ones programming every hour and she didn't get frustrated at me once lol) we will be back, already booked again!
