Liked: Nice peaceful pitches, beautiful lakeside setting, friendly staff at the pub, good value for money!

Disliked: Toilet/shower block OK (water piping hot!) but a little tired and unheated.

Large dog friendly pub with a good array of beers and spirits. Quite busy with locals but very welcoming. We stayed in the motorhome as they have a large camper stop over site at the rear of the bar with good size plots with gravel hardstand, water and metered electric. They also have elsan point and a shower block. The site has a small lake, is very quiet and reasonable to stay.

It's wasn't so bad there was bad signal and the toilets and showers could use a good clean the fishing pond looked like nobody had used it long and had beer cans all in it. wasn't very lit up Ethier saying that the pond was very close to the road of the caravan site and it was hard to find takeaways in the area and was loud due to airplanes going over and trains going past would recommend for elder people

Liked: Lovely place. Very affordable and lovely staff. The pond is ideal for fishing. The grounds and pitches are very well maintained. The pub has a dart board and pool table and live acts on the weekend.
We took a trip into Cleethorpes which took about 30mins in the car. We also travelled with 2small dogs and they loved it! We will definitely be back. Thank you for having us!

Disliked: I stayed here sun 17 nov for 3 nights and was placed next to a van that housed a working taxi driver. No issues or so I thought
Mon 6.55 am vehicle starts up with radio on!
Tues following a night of snow, taxi returns to site mid-morning at a speed far too fast even for normal conditions.
He arcs round to supposedly pass the front of my unit and park up in front of his.
Takes it too wide brakes skids. BANG! Straight into my hitch.
Couldn’t believe my eyes.
I rush out to confront him. Absolutely couldn’t care less just reverses back and parks up.
No visible damage and after a further heated exchange I got an insincere apology.

Now for the site
Pot holed track in. Drive with care unless you’re in a taxi!
My friend’s electricity meter was faulty. He’d loaded £25. Took 35kw off during the night and cut his supply. Not good bearing in mind sub zero temperatures. He did get reimbursed though.
The site is next to a railway line and trains run through the night.

Liked: Nice big flat level pitch, water and electric easily accessible. Lovely little lake. Easy book in at the pub. Overall for the price nice little stop over. Beware some pitches back on to a rail track with goods trains passing but didn't disturb our sleep. Shower and toilets ok, basic but clean. Can get a little noisy at night from other customers but was tucked away in the corner, so far enough away not to be disturbed.

Disliked: Fridge for ice packs very dirty was the only real problem we came across
