Pros. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. On the down side the hotel is very dated and in need of refreshing and the rooms not cleaned to a great standard. The shore was lukewarm at best and despite mentioning this on two occasions it was not rectified over the three nights I stayed. My room was above reception so had to suffer the piped music until late evening. Plenty of free parking.

I booked Slepe Hall at last minute (on the day) and in person. The lady that checked us in was lovely and really made us feel welcome. We had a drink in the bar and checked in. The room was lovely and clean with a coffee machine (always a win). The bath was a jacuzzi bath but didn’t work. Happy until we went down for breakfast the following morning. It was 9am and two staff members were packing the continental breakfast away, they just said we will leave some for you. No coffee or tea or juices offered or available. No apology or service. Disappointed after the nice room and check in.

This is a really good restaurant to come to for lunch. Really easy to get to in the centre of St Ives. There is a good selection of food on the menu and a good selection of drink behind the bar. The place is well looked after and the staff are friendly and professional. The owners were in the building and were wondering around. Showed they cared about the place and wanted the place to be as good as it is. I wouldn’t mind coming back here again.

Beautiful accommodation, stunning bedroom, very welcoming staff. The room smelt amazing upon entry. The bed was so comfortable, soft. Jacuzzi bath was out of this world. Complimentary continental breakfast in the morning. Old build so you can hear people in the corridor , not a problem for us. |Wonderful stay, would definitely stay again.

Really friendly hotel. All the staff were approachable and helpful. Evening menu is slightly limited but the meal was delicious. Continental breakfast was as you’d expect. Beds very comfortable.|I can strongly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a short or long stay.

We attended for our works Christmas party. Food was served punctually. I really enjoyed mine (sorry, no picture of Christmas pud but was nice!). This was the second works do - the first having been at the Old Bridge. Price was on par with Old Bridge (fixed Christmas menu) and I have to say the food was slightly better in my opinion! Waiting staff were a little rude towards the end - we had 4 drop out. - two of whom left midway through the meal but the staff refused to bring their puddings out to the rest of us. Otherwise, no complaints and a good evening had by all.

Went for work Christmas dinner. It was patchy, some good some not so. A bit unorganised, we didn’t know where we could go to get a drink and the food came out sporadically. Most of the food was good but some got a huge piece of cake and others got a tiny piece of Christmas pud.
