Recommended by the Travelodge at Fontwell for breakfast as they don't do food themselves. The Forge is like a village shop and more, with more stock of products than you can imagine. Ranging from their own brand of
products to ones that you can buy on the High Street to ones thst you will never find on the High Street, such a selection. We had a lovely breakfast where there is seating inside the cafe as well as outside seating too. Friendly staff and well worth a visit to Slinford.

Great place to grab a coffee after a dog walk, plenty of outdoor seating. You can also grab a bite to eat. With indoor seating as well you can visit in any weather. Attached is a good farm shop to get a loaf of bread amongst plenty of other goods

Stopped over for a quick bite, on a car trip, to eat with my dog . What a gem! I had a Stilton and broccoli quiche and sat outside. I shared my quiche with a sassy little robin ?. The food and coffee were wonderful. The shop had great artisan products. There is the most amazing dog walk close by. Highly recommended and super dog friendly

We visited the beautiful little village of Slindon for our friends wedding this past weekend. We stayed for 2 nights, and went for breakfast at the forge on both the Saturday and Sunday morning. On both occasions we were served by friendly welcoming staff. On the Saturday we had breakfast outside, and on Sunday we had it inside. It's a lovely little place, especially if you are a dog lover (which I'm not but we still enjoyed it) with a dog menu that runs along side the 'people' menu. My only suggestion would be to have 2 eggs on the big breakfast rather than just the 1.
Keep up the excellent work.

Stunning cafe!! Luckily found it after we had been walking for quite a while!!
Very friendly and welcoming.
I had a prawn sandwich which came with a salad, crisps and coleslaw, we also ordered loaded fried with chilli that was massive!
Kids ham sandwiches, SourDough with hummus and onion rings. All delicious!
Bought some cakes for home and they were great.

A lovely place to visit, we had 2 really good coffees and a couple of slices of very tasty cake. Great team running the place and nice location in an old forge. It has a little shop attached which sells the basics and also a good selection of cakes and biscuits if you have an unexpected guest turn up.

We have never been to the forge before, and it is such a delightful shop/ cafe. We had sandwiches, and they were served with salad with homemade coleslaw and a few crisps on the plate. Staff were lovely. We will return.
