Very welcoming and polite. Accommodating for all our needs. Nothing was too much trouble. Great interaction with us and the grandchildren. All staff had a smile on their faces. Great food great service and an added bonus of a lass from Rossendale belting out a few tunes.|Will definitely come again. Thank you for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon

Called in for lunch on a impromptu visit and so pleased we did. A dog friendly establishment a bonus. The pub had a great atmosphere very clean and welcoming. The menu had a variety of things to choose from light bites, sandwiches to full menu. We chose the steak and ale pie and was so pleased we did. The pastry and meat was cooked to perfection very tender and tasty, home made chips and veg topped it off perfectly with gravy on the side. Potions were a good size and you would not be hungry even for large appetites.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here. I had rung earlier in the day to ask if the pub was dog friendly, having booked online. My booking was checked and was amended to a table in the bar to accomodate our dogs. On arrival, we were made to feel very welcome and the dogs were greeted with biscuits too. The menu offers lots of choice and all the food was delicious. There was a lovely, friendly atmosphere and the service was excellent too. I would definitely recommend. Thanks for a great night, we will be back soon.

Went for a family meal (5 adults and 3 children) and it was lovely. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing, huge portions. I would recommend and we will definitely be back to eat again. There was also a singer on when we were there on a Sunday evening who was great.

What a great looking pub/restaurant outside and In. Good weather so the atmosphere was great. Wasn’t until we went inside, we encountered negative service. Whilst one issue could over looked, a few starts to question. However I would return, I believe the staff were more focusing on another staff members party, but forgetting the basic bread and butter. We ordered a bottle of wine from the menu (no prices) but the waiter came and apologised that they had just changed their wine menu that day and didn’t have what we really wanted. Fair play ha came across very knowledgeable. We we opted for something different? Whilst a great wine glass was perfect, the other was very sticky and grubby. We got it changed. Then we order a starter, I was very excited about the chowder, and my friend also ordered it. But “they had Just sold the last” - not even a sample? I joked for my friend to taste, but the pot was in the wash - It was just a joke. So we just had the mains, but after 35mins the waitress came and was very apologetic as they had lost the check for the kitchen, and could we remember what we ordered. We did and reordered. However due to the party a DJ and Karaoke was setting up next to us. I began a rapport with the artistes, but asked what time they were starting? I didn’t want to clash dining and live amplified music together. Absolutely understood, parties and functions but the delay in food (hr plus) meant we had to have blasting music. Food was great, home cooked, but due to music I left mine, minor point gravy was very salty. So we left quick and paid for bill at bar instead of waiting at table. It seemed like an amazing party ahead and I sincerely hope it was, but the negative points I’ve mentioned above turned our night a bit of a poor experience. However I’d to return and give it another go as it does seem a quality operation in normal times

Went for a family meal, service couldn’t have been better from walking in we got a friendly hello. Very attentive and checked everything was okay, but also giving enough time. Accommodating for the fussy eaters amongst us. Food was amazing, lots of full tummies. Bonus was live music 🙂

Amazing little place, dog friendly, my Max loved his first holiday. |Rooms are really comfortable and quiet, you wake up in the morning and can hear the birds. |Very very clean and plenty room. |Shower was amazing, nothing is any trouble just ask for anything and they will help in anyway they can. |We’ll definitely stay here again. It is perfect to visit family in morecambe.||You can even park your motorhome here, I don’t have one but it is perfect if you do.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed here. Lovely little place very close to morecambe. It has been 3 years since our last stay and it wasn't as busy and rooms seemed like they needed a little extra. But on the whole great value for money and dog friendly.
