Lovely little café by the side of the A46 outside the Salutation Inn. Convenient opening times (open earlier than the pub and on days when the pub is closed) and with a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks and delicious Blyton ice cream.

Laughable cheese and ham toasties, so hungry after a 5 mile walk I ate it. 2 crusts with a bit of leftover bacon and whiff of cheese, grilled on each side £4. Had to wait whilst the cleaner had her instructions. Should have left but was tired and hungry. Will never go there again, unless I'm tired and hungry and there is no food left at home or in the nearest 7 supermarkets. One star is 3 stars too generous.

Really nice location and friendly staff. The icecream was lovely, however we had a cheeseburger and it wasn't very nice at all plus very expensive burger at £4 . The burger was burnt and dry.

Its currently permanently closed, tried it 11 am on Saturday - Status / Opening hours need to be updated on Google Maps. Good job Ten Acre cafe not too far away!

Absolute joke of a sandwich. Inedible. Cheap, thin, dry brown bread and hacked to death tiny chunks of cheese. No butter and charged £3.50! Absolute disgrace.
