Absolutely loved Sneaton Castle. Booked direct dinner B&B in a superior room which was beautiful, overlooking the grounds. This has to be one of the best places I've stayed in. Lovely drinks on the terrace on arrival & a light bite. The garden room Sunday dinner was delightful choosing to have the massive roasts. Breakfast is chilled & relaxed so leave time for check out. Perfectly placed to walk into Whitby or Sandsend. All the staff were super polite and relaxed. We will be back!

Wonderful stay from start to finish! The staff couldn't have been any more friendly and welcoming, especially Lise. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the Gatekeepers part of the castle and it was perfect. So clean and with tons of outside safe and secure areas for our dogs.
The food was second to none and the value superb.
Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Just had 3 nights at the Castle which is our 5th visit and re booked for August. It’s amazing and the staff are fantastic, we eat in the garden restaurant every night as the food is 5 star all thanks to the chefs with plenty of variety on the menu. The rooms are perfection we always try a different one every time we visit which makes it more exciting with different views around the grounds. Will be back in 6 weeks. |Andy & Karen

Was a last minute getaway to make the most of the sunshine and when searching for somewhere to stay we came across Sneaton Castle, we booked with Hannah over the phone who was friendly, informative and very efficient. Arrived the following day to a lovely welcome by Emily who explained everything we needed to know and showed us to our room. We had a superior double which was spacious, spotlessly clean and absolutely stunning, we had views over looking the gardens and the extra special touches didn't go unnoticed..... a digital fan which was already switched on cooling the room due to the temperature outside, Bothams biscuits, Taylors coffee bags, Yorkshire tea and plenty of milk and sugar on the tea tray table. In the welcome brochure was the back story of the current Sneaton Castle which just made us appreciate it so much more. The staff in the bar and bistro were friendly and attentive, food and drinks were great and the hotel and grounds are just spectacular..... can't wait to come back

Food was fantastic, service was excellent and the setting was magnificent.|We all had the roast dinner and the two children chose from the little farmers menu.|Our plates were full and then a lazy Susan of vegetables- all perfectly cooked. |We somehow managed to make room for dessert. The ice cream was superb, I had the cheesecake which was delicious. Children had the vegan chocolate fudge cake with dairy free ice cream.|Finished off with a delicious coffee.

We booked the cabin that they have available. The view was stunning!. A huge bathroom, bedroom area in the main part of the cabin. A seating area and a huge tv. The hot tub is set upon a porch area and is screened so nice and private. The view out to the moors has a perspex screen, so when in the hot tub, you still have a beautiful view! Fridge, towels, robes, and pretty much everything you need to enjoy your stay!

FABULOUS venue in a great position for exploring Whitby and surrounding area. The whole experience was absolutely superb. The staff are amazing, as is the quality food and fantastic rooms. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone.
