Nice log cabin with good facilities. Three large double ( queen?) size beds, other beds more suitable for children. Two upstairs bedrooms are en suite, family bathroom downstairs. Full Sky package on TV in living room and free view TVs in all the bedrooms. Easy location to find on the edge of Carrbridge, two minutes by car to Landmark and about 10 minutes to Aviemore.

Originally came here in 2017 which was mine and my 8 other friends first ever cabin experience and since then we have went to one every year. This year we thought it would be nice to return to the original cabin as its one that's always held highly in our hearts and is a special place for us all.

Happy to say that the cabin is still a delight and we have had been taken care of by Highland Hideouts whom have taken over from Great North Lodges.

They have since built this amazing outside BBQ area which also has a beer fridge which isn't present in any the photos which was a brilliant surprise for us. My only suggestion would be that it would be lovely to have one of those outside heaters that keep you warm during the colder months cause the garden is beautiful but this time of year its too cold and that would've made it 10x better.

Other than that, I couldn't recommend this cabin enough, lovely beds, plenty of space, great hosts, beautiful garden, great showers and plenty of things to keep everyone satisfied.

Lovely wooden chalet in which I stayed with 9 others from my extended family. We had some problems to start with such as the dishwasher wouldn't work and the television wouldn't give the boys the channel they wanted for the football game. They were going to sort these things out but still hadn't arrived at 5pm. The position of the chalet was good and the grounds ran down to the river. The hot tub was well used and there was a sauna in the grounds too.

Really nice space. Big outside area. Some areas of the house felt tired and unclean
The surfaces felt sticky and the cushions full of dust. The outdoor furniture was worn. It was a nice break, just don’t think it was as luxurious as promised. Nothing major just lots of little things like the washing machine not working. All problems could be prevented from general maintenance.
