Edited: (to respond to the business owner's question below): In fact, you didnt serve me and that is the reason for the one star. You had announced on your whatsapp group that dinner orders had to be placed before 2 PM. I did place my order well before that time limit. After an hour or so, you replied me saying that my order was denied because you had already stopped taking orders. You should either have communicated about prematurely stopping order taking or at least be courteous and friendly in your denial message. Even a charity food bank doling out free food to the needy or a government food ration distribution centre in a developing country would be less cold, blunt and rude in their messages. Sorry as I couldn't successfully pass my order and get to taste your food, I am unable to give it more stars.

2nd EDIT: Still you DON'T seem to understand the problem here. In fact, there are two of them. PROBLEM 1) Problem of Process: You should choose one of these options. OPTION a) Set an earlier time limit for ordering for example 1 PM instead of 2 PM. And then say that, any orders made between 1 PM and 2 PM would be accepted ONLY if allowed by your capacity on that day or would be penalised by a late delivery beyond 9 PM. OPTION b) Define your capacity by number of orders. Say that ONLY the first X number of orders will be accepted and suggest a time period within which orders should be made to have a 'higher chance' of order acceptance. OPTION c) Announce in the group the moment you stop taking orders on the given day so that no one would place an order after that. OPTION d) Or simply warn that later an order is placed (even within the time limit) later will be the delivery, meaning the food could be delivered later than 9 PM. Neither you did any of this or any other better solution then nor you talk now of doing any such improvement in the future. You still show your passive aggression with your countless exclamations and sarcasm on me. PROBLEM 2) Problem of Communication: If you think that your blunt order refusal message was a 'polite apology' (!), then I have nothing more to add. 🙂 Good luck!

We are a Tamil Brahmin family and used Solihull Dabbawalla for catering services on the occasion of scared thread ceremony for our older son at the Birmingham Balaji temple over the past weekend. The food was very authentic, extremely tasty and served in the true South Indian style on a banana leaf by highly skilled and experienced catering staff and delivered promptly on time . Very polite, courteous and patients staff paying individual attention to the needs of all those being served. A truly traditional authentic South Indian experience replicated in the heart of England! We would highly and wholeheartedly recommend the services of Dhariniji and her catering team. A wholesome professional in the world of food and catering services.
