Stayed in Willow Cottage, super dog friendly. The owners are so helpful. The cottage contains a booklet full of really useful information covering just about everything you need to know. Would highly recommend. Just 3 miles to a fabulous dog friendly beach at Sand Bay

This was our 4th stay at Somerset Court. We always stay in Willow cottage if we can.||Cosy cottage in a rural peaceful setting - just ideal for a short break way and not to far for us to travel. Peter and Virginia always give us a warm welcome including our 2 dogs. Lovely grounds with well kept colourful garden. Cottage is cosy with everything you need even a washing/drying machine which certainly came in useful for the dogs towels after drying them off from being on the beach. Can highly recommend a stay here.

Just arrived home after 3 nights in Willow Cottage and our friends stayed in Baytree Cottage. Cannot quite understand some of previous reviews to be honest. We found communication with owner great from the time of booking always answering our questions and even allowing us to squeeze in an extra guest at last minute. Cottage was clean and tidy. Comfortable. All bedding was lovely and clean. Lots of plates and glasses etc. Yes the furniture was dated but this is a cottage so modern furniture would not have suited. We thought it had lots of character. Wi fi worked great which kept kids happy. Our dog loved it too and if we are in that area again I would certainly re book!

We recently had a two night stay at Willow Cottage travelling with friends who were staying in another one of the cottages. The cottage was fairly clean and basic but we were not expecting anything else, however the smell of dogs was very overpowering and agree with previous reviews that the carpet should be replaced with wooden/vinyl flooring as well as some of the furniture being replaced as it was looking a little tired. In terms of location, lovely village however there was no local village pub just the Ebdon Arms a mile away which is part of a chain serving processed food, would not recommend a visit. Overall nice weekend but would not return to the area.

We stayed in Willow Cottage for a long weekend after visiting friends in the area. It was a delight to relax in the peace and tranquillity of the Somerset countryside after the recent heat and humidity in London. Somerset Court is ideally situated, only a few minutes drive from the M5, but surrounded by quiet countryside and well placed for visiting the coast - we enjoyed a gentle walk along Weston-Super-Mare’s famous sandy beach, as well as a more invigorating walk high up at nearby Sand Point. Had we had more time in the area, it would have been easy to visit other seaside resorts as well as places such as Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wells and Bath. Do not expect trendy furniture and ultra modern fittings, but our cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped, and the beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The gardens around the cottages were very pretty and well cared for. Only wish we could have stayed for longer.

I would highly recommend Somerset Court Cottages. We spent three nights at the Somerset Cottage. There were six of us, spanning a three generation age gap and one dog. Peter the owner was extremely accommodating, introducing himself and giving us a chance for questions on our arrival and then leaving us to our own devices unless there were any problems. An absolutely gorgeous cottage which was very spacious and clean with a very homely feel. If I was pushed to find a negative it would be that there was only one bathroom but even that did not effect our enjoyable stay. In all, a lovely cottage, lovely owners and a beautiful location.

Ok this isn't the ritz Carlton, but the location is spot on, the place is clean and adequate for a holiday stay and the owners are so helpful and accommodating - they were happy to allow us to bring all 4 of our pooches and this is the first holiday we've had as a family. We are eternally grateful but rest assured, we kept the place spotless so non canine visitors won't need to worry about post pooch stench. Yes, the place may be a little tired and the owners could spend a small fortune upgrading - but for what we needed and paid, and for the luxury of having our dogs with us, we really cannot grumble. We will definitely visit again.

Great little rustic cottage, just on the outskirts of Weston super mare, approx 10 minutes from local shops and 15 minutes from a lovely sandy beach. Both the cottage and beach are dog friendly.
