Absolutely wonderful. Lovey room, very comfortable beds, 2 comfortable chairs to relax in, great breakfast and excellent hosts. This is B&B perfection. Grange is a great base for seeing the Lake district. It only took us 1hr to drive over to the west coast to see Muncaster Castle. We would wholeheartedly recommend this B&B to anyone who wants a great place to stay and say to book direct with them.

Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely and clean. Nice and quiet. Landlady was lovely and made us feel welcome. Plenty of breakfast choice and you can have it in your room if preferred. Would stay again.

We have stayed with Geraldine before and were happy to return.||Somerset House is a traditional seaside B&B, it is clean & comfortable. The owners take great pride in providing reasonably priced accommodation and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.||We were cycle touring, there is space to store bikes. Geraldine and Gill, as cyclists themselves, understand the need for a comfortable bed & hot shower after a day on the bike.||We would recommend this place 👌

The loveliest B&B with thee loveliest staff who made my family feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for us (Geraldine and the lady at breakfast) Immaculate, nice breakfast and nice view from the bedroom. Would definitely return and recommend

Geraldine was amazing and managed to squeeze us in despite being 95% full that evening. We had a double room with a pop up bed due to it being so last minute however we found the room really comfortable and the showers are amazing, really powerful. Overall cleanliness is superb and the breakfast was fantastic, amazing value. Friendly people and a good nights sleep

Probably the best guest house my wife and I have stayed in. It is spotlessly clean, and for breakfast your given an excellent variety from cooked to continental breakfasts. Geraldine your host is is very helpful and always happy to accommodate your every need’s. Will definitely return one day.

Amazing little gem of a b&b. Such a friendly warm welcome and our room was lovely and homely. Breakfast was delicious with a fabulous amount of choice. Highly recommended

We stayed a couple of nights with our 2 children at the end of a fantastic week in the Lakes. Very good location near everything and a great base to explore. We loved nearby Cartmel. |The family room was very comfortable for the 4 of us. Geraldine is the perfect host and very friendly. Also cooked us a lovely breakfast both mornings. |I would recommend this B & B to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
