Came for a 3 night stay. Very clean hotel, very nice decor, spacious and tody. nice bedroom with powerful shower. TV with free view. Hair dryer on room too. Originally booked a twin by accident instead of double and they swapped us rooms straight away.|Honesty box with drinks available - alcohol free, good selection of drinks.|Very friendly and welcoming staff.|Perfect location - parking to the rear.|Breakfast available - to be booked evening before.|Great internet connection.|Will 100% stay here again. 100% recommended.||Thanks somerton lodge, we had a lovely time

Amazing lodge, clean, comfortable and the hostess was incredibly nice. She offered us a few leaflets about local places to visit and bus lines and times that came really in handy. She also provided me plasters after I had came back with a cut on my leg from the beach.

We stayed for two nights for a short break in the winter. It is very close to Shanklin old town and has plenty of parking. Twin room, good price and the owners were great. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back again in the future. Thank you so much 🙂

Stayed here early August. We absolutely loved it! Anne and John was very welcoming, the room was amazing! Especially the cosy bed! Not too far to walk to Town and we will definitely stay here again when we come back to the isle of wight in 1-2 years. Highly recommend staying here. Super lovely place!

stayed in the single room for two nights, was pleasantly surprised to get a double bed. location is perfect for exploring shanklin, less than ten minutes to the old town and not much further to the beach. Anne was lovely and made sure I had everything on checking in and gave me some recommendations too. the lounge and garden are both great to relax in. considering the price was very affordable it was an amazing stay, if I come back to the Isle of Wight it'll be the first place I stay

I love staying at the somerton lodge because I have seen everything that is challenging and experienced. The hosts are so phenomenal and friendly. I love the service that they have provided for the customers who are also staying too, the breakfast was so absolutely cooked right and on time, they have also cleaned the restaurant and rooms too. The twin room is disappointing. As soon as a double was available we were moved. Breakfast was very good. Very good position. 5 minute walk into town bus stops right outside will take you anywhere. Our hosts were very attentive and friendly nothing a bother for them to sort.
