We had a big birthday bash for 115 guests. Liam and his team took all the stress out of planning the food. The Hog roast was superbly cooked and the salads that we chose were fab too. We also chose a selection of deserts which were delicious. Presentation and service was very professional and they even cleared away all the empty plates from around the venue through the evening.

I attended a 40th birthday party that they catered with a whole hog roast and a load of lovely sides. All the food was great! And the birthday girl said they were great to deal with.

Liam provided a hog roast for my 40th birthday party. It was excellent!!! The food was incredible and importantly his staff were friendly, kind and professional. Everything looked and tasted amazing. Liam provided me with plenty of options and time to make decisions leading up to the event, considering the children and dietary requirements of everyone coming. Their clean up was like they’d never been there - everything was taken care of. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Thank you so much for providing a faultless service for our wedding in Cornwall on 7 September 2024. The food was absolutely delicious (hog roast, salads, desserts and pasties and sausage rolls for later in the evening) and superbly served. What a fantastic service! Liam has been brilliant from start to finish. The hog roast & salads were perfection & the cracking out of this world! We are so grateful to Liam for his dedication, sitting outside a village hall with only the company of a piggy for 7 hours is no mean feat, but my goodness, it was worth it! We didn’t know it until later, but he cooked the hog, roasties, salads etc all on his own as his colleague was poorly, but was calm & under control & served in time. Thank you so much Liam, you’ve been amazing!

Exceptional! We booked Liam and the team for our wedding and right from the start we couldn't have been more impressed. From the organisation and communication to the attention to detail to the bespoke menu choices to the excellent staff, let alone the quality of the food. Numerous people said it was the best hog roast they'd ever had, with the vegan option of pulled jackfruit going down a storm.
Very high standard of service, and we would recommend it to absolutely anyone and everyone.

Liam and his team catered for our daughter’s wedding providing a hog roast for 110 people with salads and desserts. He also provided a bar, arrival and toast drinks, tea & coffee and a tiered cheese wedding cake. It was such a help to have all these things co-ordinated by one person.

From the start, Liam was very friendly, he communicated really well and his confidence was very reassuring. His experience enabled him to give helpful advice whenever we needed it, whether deciding how many desserts to choose or how we should lay out the bar area.

On the day itself Liam and his team were very professional and hard working and everything ran very smoothly. The food was excellent! There were many compliments about the quality of the hog roast which was exceptional. He also catered for a large number of different dietary requirements very efficiently.

With Liam we felt in very safe hands and cannot think of anything that could have been done better! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend South Devon Hog Roast. Thank you so much, Liam!
