We had a lovely week at the Southernhay. Very clean, comfortable, friendly and great breakfast. The bathroom was sparkling clean and the bed very comfy with fresh white bed linen. Host Darren very accommodating with a dry wit. There is a car parking space for each of the 6 rooms. Westbourne is a pleasant area with lots of individual shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Good bus service. Would definitely recommend.

We had two lovely weeks. Best thing: it was so quiet inside and outside so we always got a good night's sleep. Very clean and well appointed, nice breakfast. Near to excellent bus service and two minutes from footpath down the chine to the beach. Perfect

Warm welcome from Darren. Room clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Second time of staying here . Will be back. Lovely walks in the chine and along sea front to the pier. Lovely fish and chip shop and pubs in Westbourne . Only a two minute walk from the house.

Good parking.the bed was comfy. but it was to high for me as I have a bad back.good service breakfast was nice but very small portions .definitely not worth £15 a head. person in room next door noisy but thats not owners fault. found a couple of cob webs .

A really spotless, well decorated and welcoming establishment with excellent hosts. ||Our room was very comfortable indeed and the en-suite bathroom was clean and sparkling! ||Our breakfasts were very tasty with everything freshly cooked to order. Now we are back home, I am missing those breakfasts! ||There is plenty of free parking at Southernhay and we also took advantage of the complimentary wifi connection throughout our stay. ||My wife and I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Southernhay Guest House, Bournemouth. We give it 5* ratings in all categories! |

Great hosts. Parking was a bonus. If anything to improve on it was breakfast choice needs updating BUT for price it was fabulous and we've already looked at coming back

Always a warm welcome when we arrive. For us the perfect place for a quick break in a great area. Plenty of shops and quality places to eat and drink just around the corner. Lovely stroll through Alum chine to the beach, pier and shops. Bedrooms very comfortable and tasty cooked breakfast. Looking forward to our next visit !!
