I've walked past this beautiful shop a couple of times but never had chance to pop in. Realising that Sparkles are closed on Monday's I made a call on the Tuesday to see about the closing time that day to pop after work after seeing a beautiful scarf in the window for a gift I needed on the Wednesday. After speaking to Gail who lives locally, she kindly arranged to open the shop when I arrived from work to pick up the scarf. I thought that Gail was so lovely and really went out of her way to help me. I will definitely shop again in Sparkles, specially with the amazing gifts that Sparkles sell. I love the place. Well I called up to get some balloons last minute and wanted them done whilst my daughter was playing football so I could get them in the boot so she didn’t see. Let me just say, I think she is called Gail, she went completely above and beyond to help me. She did the balloons for me that were just lovely but she then drove with them to my daughter’s football match 2mins before the end of the match so I could sneak them in my boot. She didn’t want them to go down as they would have been in my boot for over an hour and a half. Gail is an absolute angel and so so kind. Thank you!!x

I visited the store looking for balloons for making balloon animals for my grandsons at my daughter's wedding. The beautiful ladies went out of their way to hunt down a type of balloons they dont normally sell, but knew they had some somewhere. I'd certainly advise using them for events, they must have the most amazing service attitude. Thank you Sparkles Events!

Balloons didnt last for even a day. Given excuse of it being in a hospital! Ive had many balloons that last in hospitals so never heard this before. Offered a replacement for the main balloon not the latex, but told they take no responsibility as the balloons were intact when they left the shop! I dont think id want a replacement because if its not going to last even 24 hrs id rather blow a balloon as home! Very poor in my view. Not given a refund at least for the main balloon which should have lasted. 2 stars for the lovely staff member that served me and was very helpful! Ill go back to my usual places next time.

Okay, so it's a card shop, but when the likes of Clintons and WH Smiths regularly let us down we usually find something suitable in Card World. They have a huge selection of cards and they stock many brands you don't seem to find elsewhere. Card World also stocks a range of gifts, wrapping paper etc. Friendly staff, and a great range of products. Why go elsewhere?

It's good to go and buy new books and old books that u've been waiting ages for. They have lovely people at the till and they are happy to help with anything. They have a variety of genres.
