As always, amazing food and service. Fabulous menu with some really interesting and great options as well as traditional pub options. Love the conservatory area which is perfectly set to show the views of the valley. Food and drink reasonably priced as staff really attentive and helpful.

Awesome food and an awesome atmosphere. They've now added a conservatory area to give you a warmer indoor/outdoor experience.||The food is lovely - I recommend trying some of their international dishes if you see them on the menu.||Child friendly and good for meeting up with friends or family.

Sunday Lunch Roast Dinner after experiencing several different local pubs in the area for Sunday roast dinner the Sportsmans is outstanding in terms of content We enjoyed 8 vegetables along with the selected meat of our choice + the standard roast potatoes etc with good service and pleasant staff very enjoyable would highly recommend at a very resonable price. Such a friendly place! Rooms were spotless and very well equipped, on arrival we were greeted by staff and asked about our breakfast preference. Then we were shown the rooms, bedding was laid beautifully, there was shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. We had mini fridge, hair dryer, kettle, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. The room was very warm. There was TV. Breakfast was delicious. I really recommend this place.

Lovely setting always greeted with a smile owner's and staff are always happy and welcoming the food never disappoints thanks for an amazing roast will highly recomend to everyone for lunch evening meal or just a drink keep up the good work guys xx

What amazing food! South African style menu. Loads to chose from including half portions which was great for me as I was then able to have pudding too! ||Prices not too bad. Lovely welcome and atmosphere. Free wifi. Good outside space with fabulous views. Will definitely be back!

Came here with my partner what a fantastic dinner we had would 100% recommend the camerbert sharing platter good value for money. Great service by Harry and Ryan and amazing food by delta. ||Great atmosphere and lovely view of the horses. Would 100% come here again. Such a lovely family run pub ||Also staying in one of the rooms very clean and tidy not a spec of dust in sight.
