Been a regular swimmer at Spring Lakes for 2.5 years now and never had a bad experience. Love stay for coffee and cake to warm up afterwards at the cafe where prices are very reasonable.
The staff across all areas are absolutely amazing too.
So lucky to have this place on my doorstep 🏊😀

I booked the aqua park and a dining pod for 10 people. The aqua park was the perfect activity for the mixture age groups of our party. Amazing fun was had by all.
The dining pod was all set for us, we were looked after really well and was definitely given the feeling that nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service, lovely food. An amazing day overall. Thank you Spring Lakes and all of us have said we will definitely be back.

Fabulous day celebrating 2 family members birthdays. 4 years ago was the first time we visited for a birthday to enjoy the water sports ( and several family members come most weekends for wild water swimming) but this time we hired a private pod which was beautifully appointed and we were served our food and drinks in there. It was a truly magical day, (blessed with glorious weather!) and can’t recommend it highly enough. The staff are fantastic!

We held our wedding at Spring Lakes (just not the ceremony as they currently don't have a licence). And honestly it went perfectly.

We had a BBQ in the afternoon on pod village followed by fish and chips in the marquee at night. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble, including driving us around on one of their golf buggies.

We also camped with many of our friends and family also bringing their caravans and hiring the bell tents, meaning we made a mini break out of things.

Everything was just perfect and we fully intend to continue visiting this lovely place to enjoy the water activities they offer. Nothing but positive vibes, and can highly recommend 👌

On this occasion they held a car boot saw in the marquis. There were plenty of people who paid to sell their items but unfortunately Spring Lakes let them down by falling short on the advertising and there was no signage on the road encouraging people to attend and as it's set in quite a way from the beaten track turnout for the general public was very poor.

Saw this appear on Google Maps when searching for a cafe. Cafe is in the title of this property. It when I arrived the cafe was still closed. Even though the hours on the google listing said ‘Open’ because the facility was open. Ideally the cafe needs to have a separate google business listing as the hours are not synchronous.

We spent 20 minutes driving here so we could go to the cafe and it was closed. That was the reason for the two stars. After my review I can see that cafe has been removed from the business listing title.

We visited Spring Lakes today for the first time with our two daughters (7&4). Overall, we had a fun experience, and the site offers some great activities; although at eye-watering costs. However, I do feel there are a few issues that need addressing to make the resort more enjoyable.

Firstly, there was no signage for the toilets, which made it quite difficult to find them. I had to walk around the whole site in flip-flops to finally locate them. Once I finally found the toilets, there was no toilet paper available, and people were having to use paper hand towels as a substitute, which is far from ideal.

Another concern is the smoking policy on the beach. It's unacceptable and absolutely unbelievable to me that smoking is allowed in such a family-friendly environment, especially near children. The man sitting next to us lit up multiple times, smoking over his own children and ours 🤬🤮 This made it unpleasant for us, and it would be great to see a strict no smoking and no vaping rule enforced on the beach to ensure the space is safer and more pleasant for everyone.

I hope these points can be addressed as they would make a big difference.

My son & I had our first paddle boarding lesson last month with Zac. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience from arriving and gettimg our wetsuits to leaving with our new skills. Zac was a fantastic teacher and was very clear with his instructions and guidance and gave us options to keep us safe when the wind got up. We learned so much and will definitely be back. Thanks so much.
