Omg .. one of the best b & b we have stayed in. Louise and her husband Martin are so nice . ||Bedroom had everything we could ask for . Ensuite had shower / bath. Bed linen and towels are of high quality. ||Breakfast was 5 star . ||Would highly recommend to stay here .

Stayed for 3 nights and I highly recommend Springrove House. Bathgate has never been that great for good places to stay and seems to be getting worse. I had never stated here but was reassured by the great reviews - well deserved.

Louise and Martin are great hosts. I was well looked after. Martin helped me sort out some car problems.
Breakfasts are excellent. Bedroom was clean with all the facilities you needs and great bed. Slept like a log. It’s right on the main Edinburgh Road which is handy but you wouldn’t know - I didn’t notice any road noise. And very reasonably priced.

Louse and Martin are great company - knowledgeable and easy to talk with.
I really enjoyed my stay here and I look forward to staying here again.

Lovely b&b with fantastic hosts. Louise and Martin were lovely. The location is great, between Edinburgh and Glasgow. We didn't have a car but took the train to both cities. If you are young and fit you could walk to the station but our hosts gave us lifts and we took taxis. We stayed 3 nights in a twin room although the beds were large and very comfy. Tea and coffee available and a cute little fridge for milk. The shower or actually 3 showers ! beyond heavenly. Breakfast was excellent. The house is an old Victorian vicarage situated in beautiful grounds.

Well folks, let me tell you this. I’ve stayed in many B&Bs over the years but this one is by far the best. Louise and Matthew were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was out of this world, and boy, you got to try their home made yogurt, simply the best. Our room was beautifully furnished. I highly recommend staying here, you won’t regret it. Simply wonderful.

Springrove House is a beautiful bed and breakfast in Bathgate, near Edinburgh. Louise and Martin Igoe are wonderful, friendly hosts. Our room was excellent, tidy, well equipped with an en-suite with lots of hot water. The food provided had lots of variety and all very tasty. We highly recommend this venue.

We tend to stay in hotels where ever we travel to and we do travel alot, but we loved our 3 night stay at Springrove. It was warm and welcoming from the second we stepped foot in the door. The room was as big if not bigger than most rooms you'll find in a hotel. Very clean, full of character and the beds are one of the comfiest we've slept in, also to mention the newly fitted shower which again I'd say is the best we've come across! The BnB is located not far from the train station so walking distance into the town centre and its across the road from a lovely park. The train station is a few minutes drive away or a 10min walk with Edinburgh a 20 minute train ride away. Louise and Martin are great hosts. We liked that after breakfast Louise was happy to come and sit with us for a bit and chat about anything and everything with some great recommended places to visit! |If you like a quiet, friendly, personable, characterful place to stay that does a lovely fresh, great quality breakfast then you can't go wrong with this BnB. We'll definitely return!

We've had such a wonderful time in this bed and breakfast! It was very clean and the beds were really comfortable! The hostess Louise was so nice, we've had great conversations during a delicious breakfast. The train gets you up to Edinburgh in 25 minutes, which is perfect! Would most definitely recommend!

Gorgeous guest house in Bathgate where we stayed whilst visiting for a special family birthday. Louise and Mathew ( the hosts) could not do enough for us. The guest house is lovely, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed with very comfortable beds. These were a godsend as we are getting to be people of an age with sore hips, backs etc. Our stay could not have been any better, and breakfast in the morning was very tasty in a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. All in all I would definitely recommend this gorgeous place which is great value for money run by a lovely couple who are very friendly and can't do enough for you ( including a lift to the train station).
