Hotel very pleasant, rooms clean and spacious. My pillow is great. My wife's too hard. No air-conditioning, in summer the rooms may be stifling. Supplied fan blower. Restaurant menu underwhelming, not huge choice. Breakfast is good, staff very helpful, bar lady funny. Reception staff welcoming |

Ignore the bad reviews, we had a fantastic golf break here for £99, DB&B, 2 rounds of golf..such a great deal. Room large with x2 doubles, crisp clean linen, modern bathroom with plenty of towels. Good food in restaurant and friendly attentive staff in all the hotel. Slept really well in comfortable bed and room was quiet. Golf course in good condition, challenging bunkers. Definitely coming back next year. Thanks for our stay lorna

Disappointing hotel dining experience - starter and main rushed through in 45 minutes at restaurant choice not ours. ||Seemed more corporate customer focused than independent customers (or wedding groups). ||Hotel itself quite impressive physically (spacious bedrooms) but somewhat “faded glory” and in search of its identity.

Not sure why this rates as 4 star. Sheets not good, only 1 pillow each no spares in the cupboard. Room dated and furniture not cleaned properly. Some of our party also had out of date milk in the tea drawer, no bottled water. Another of our party found their towels were dirty. As you can see from the pictures hygiene and cleaning seems lacking pictures were taken after entering the room. I waited until I was home before showering especially as one of our party found dirt marks and hairs on their towels. Thankfully it was only a 1 night stay.||If a bedside cabinet and desk cannot be dusted correctly then what else are housekeeping not doing.||Some of our party were in suites and these were more of a standard I would expect for the star rating. However, still had cleaning issues||Breakfast was lukewarm at best and provided all the usuals however the continental choices were limited. Also I do not drink tea or coffee but was told the hotel do not provide hot chocolate not even to purchase. The dining room again was dated and quite dark. Coffee machine was broken so a jug was being used. People were left to their own devices no one checked us in or showed us to a table, which is standard at most hotels. People did queue but the 2 staff ignored them so ended up seating themselves.||After breakfast found most of us had been locked out of our rooms even though our check out time had not expired.||Very disappointed for the price. Compared to other hotels that I have stayed in this at best would only rate as a 2/3 star

A lovely place, I had a perfect stay. The pool area was lovely and clean. A few suggestions; find somewhere else to store the clean laundry, with such good care of the rest of the hotel yet every time I came thru to the front you see many trolleys parked up. Places to sit outside and walks as such lovely grounds. Get food back in the golf club house. And finally cook your peas more please

Stayed at this place this week and it's been brilliant. Staff are lovely and all friendly. The Breakfast and dinner menus have been great and had a nice big TV to watch the Footie in the bar.

The gym and pool have been added bonuses for myself, great facilities! My room has a slight smell of smoke but to be honest it's no big issue for me. The actual grounds themselves are amazing, I will 100 percent stay here again next time I'm in the area

Been here for a spa day with my partner. The location is nice however what's included in the 'spa' package is quite disappointing. We opted for a scalp massage which was very disappointing only lasting about 10-15 min. It did not target the scalp at all but was more like a shoulder rub/massage. The waiting had a coffee machine which was switched off with no coffee available of any sort. The poos is shallow throughout, even in the adult swimming lanes. The furniture and wooden ceiling was a bit decaying as well. The good things about it were the steam room and the hot tub, but again very small.

Okay stay. Need to constantly book time slots for breakfast and Dinner if not its always full. Bit outside the city. Hotel seems to be reaching it's age and time for a revamp. Sharing the menu of the restaurant since you can't find it on the website.
