This guy is not merely the person who serves you. He is a host, raconteur, food enthusiast, chef and all round good bloke. Excellent produce too. Even serves up a good mug of good tea. Even has dog parking and provides a bone for your dog too.

A fantastic deli butchers. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. Used this place on our way through on a boating holiday. Nice quiet village and nice pub opposite as well

The ricotta rigatoni was delicious the chicken white wine and mushrooms was very enjoyable and I nearly forgot about the short ribs. They were just as nice thank you very much. if you want good food cooked for you, pop in and say
hi. Good cheese and meat if we are back in the area, we will definitely be visiting you again

Alex is a marvel. 7 of us turned up on a Wed evening after our narrowboat electrics blew. The village pub don't do food on a Wed evening, but Alex cooked 1 meal & rice delivered hot to the pub & gave us 6 meals previously cooked which the pub, incredibly kindly, heated up for us. Alex offered to cook all sorts of meals, such a variety on offer. Superb food. What a fantastic village
