While we were greeted with very sad looking building we were well surprised once git inside.

Building has some character and all stuff was very friendly.

We had a family room (31) for 2 adults & 2 older kids. Our bed was so huge and comfy. Sofa bed was good too but foldable bed (camping bed) was disappointing, should had a kind of mattress not just folded blanket cover with sheet, on top sharp edges on the side.

Breakfast was classic and fulfilling, Breakfast staff friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but the decor is beautiful, matching the charm of the hotel. I originally booked a small solo room, which was cozy and perfect for me, upon going into the bathroom there was an incredible amount of mould it made me very uncomfortable, in every single tile and along the ceiling, I let the staff know and they apologised and put me into another small room, this one was the same, even more mould on the ceiling of the bathroom, and mould on the netting of the window right next to the bed. This made me even more uncomfortable as there was mould right next to where I would sleep. I let the staff know again and was upgraded to another room, I did a quick sweep of the room as anyone would and was let down by the cleanliness, there was bits of food on the nightstand, dirt marks on the end of the bed, dust on lamps, again the decor was fantastic, just let down massively by the cleanliness.

Stayed one night last week, and two nights this week. |Can't fault the place. The taff are friendly and very helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is undergoing a refurbishment to a good standard. Very good value for money.

No toiletries, ever! Not even soap to wash hands. We stayed in this hotel two times two weeks apart and in both occasions there were no toiletries in our room. The front desk staff gave us the same old excuses, that they had just received a delivery but hadn’t unpacked yet, or that they were still expecting a delivery. Yeah, whatever! Also there’s mold in the walls. They have a sign up saying they’re undergoing renovations, but I haven’t seen any signs of any construction going on, just a rundown hotel, really. We have to go to Droitwich periodically for family reasons but we’ll look for a different hotel from now on.

Coming off the M5 and heading over to St Andrew's Town Hotel in Droitwich, you are greeted by a charismatic sight of a hotel which has a grander, historic appeal than many alternative, soulless layovers.

Dominating the entrance is a tree of magnificent proportions. Yes there was some scaffolding on the outside at the time of my visit but I felt assured by this, that this was a location that was having some investment and love put into it.

Inside the entrance is dominated by a grand staircase, a high ceiling and huge chandelier. Was this really a low price location?
The staff were warm and friendly and extremely accommodating. We had arrived quite late and yet the restaurant was open to us, not only that we had a lovely curry, made with love and pride, and a price I had not seen since before the cost of living price hikes.
Our room was vast with a bed that rivalled for size and comfort from any 4 star locations.

It was quiet, comfortable, elegant and yet updated to a modern feel.
Overall I would recommend this place as the perfect location for a night on your travels to the South West. It's best feature being the staff who were amazing.

The photographs online are not a true reflection of what the hotel looks like. The beautiful ivy that encompassed the building is none existent. Parts of the hotel look unkempt and run down, there is a scaffolding around part of the building which is an eye sore. ||The breakfast was included in the price and it was very nice, the vegetarian sausages were delicious. The service was good, the receptionist was friendly, professional and she managed to find a cot for my Son. I personally wouldn't stay here again as the hotel requires some TLC as its very tired and old in places.

The first night we stayed at this hotel we had a problem with the toilet leaking all over the bathroom floor so we had to move rooms. The second night we stayed in this new room we realised that the heating in the room did not work, and the room was absolutely freezing and only a bigger duvet was offered until a heater was found the next day and given to us. The third night we stayed, we had a water leakage coming from the light above our bed so yet again had to swap rooms - the new room heating also does not work. The stay so far has been nothing but complicated, I’ve never been to a hotel like it. The woman who has looked after us has genuinely been lovely and done the best she can whilst the manager has been absent… I really do not recommend this hotel and am extremely disappointed that nothing complimentary was offered.
