The owner is very nice and helpful. Good location, 15 min walk to the town centre, convenience store and take away 2-3 min walking. Clean room, with a kettle (coffee and tea). Toiletries and hair dryer provided. Small room but plenty of space for one person. Comfortable bed. Breakfast starts at 7. Good value for money.

It's a great budget place to stay. Rooms are spacious for one person. The twin bed room which is en suite, is good for 2 persons. The host is lovely. The breakfast is not English breakfast but they give you bread, milk, croissant, and fruits. It is self service. The place was quiet and close to two convenient stores. It is also closer to the University and the city centre.

From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The owners Max and Monica were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room and en suite were spotless with all amenities provided. The breakfast was beautifully presented with plenty of cereal, fruit and pastries. We would certainly recommend this guest house and will be returning ourselves. Full marks to Max & Monica and thank you for a really comfortable stay.

Would definitely recommend this quiet guest house. We just wanted somewhere to lay our heads after an event so we didn't have to drive home, without having to pay for lots of facilities we were not going to use. This was ideal. The owner greeted us and showed us round and how it all worked. We had booked an off-road parking space which was ready for us on arrival in a safe place alongside the house.||||The twin room was light and airy with proper casement windows that open, clean modern furnishings, ample drawer and wardrobe space, tea and coffee tray, comfortable beds and adequate en-suite toilet and shower room with toiletries. Breakfast is self- service with cereals, bread, toaster, various items to put on the toast, yogurts and fruit juice. We certainly didn't go away hungry. What struck us most was the cleanliness. Everything was spotless, with not a speck of dust or a corner web in sight. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area. It's only 15 minutes stroll to the city shops, with some nice parks on the way.

I had the pleasure of staying at St Anne´s Guest House and I have to say that it has been a genuine discovery of a very nice and cozzy guest house. ||Monica , its owner, makes you feel home, The room was pristine, as the bathroom too. Excellent heating and above all a great breakfast. I highly recommend this guest house . It´s just ten minutes walk from central Exeter.

Stayed here for a wedding nearby. Fantastic service, helped with all our needs. Nice rooms, comfortable and quiet, clean bathrooms and a fantastic selection for breakfast. Would recommend.

Friendly professional owners. Very helpful with information re buses etc. Nothing to much trouble room for them. Room nicely decorated and clean. Ensuite small, I am quite chunky, but still not a problem to use. Self service breakfast in the kitchen and everything explained to you on arrival. Handed keys and Exeter is waiting for you! Felt like I was staying with friends I had known for years - really great experience. Thanks M&M😍

Very friendly welcome and local info given. Bedroom has all you need with WiFi and TV. Breakfast was continental as described with all the ingredients as required. Good location, would stay again.
