This B&B is perfect for travellers with cars. The hosts are incredibly warm and friendly, and I felt very welcomed here. Although the house is near the road, it is surrounded by a garden, making it very quiet. The rooms are well-equipped, and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast can be customised to your liking and is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended to everyone!

Our large and cosy bedroom was very clean and very comfortable 👍 it had lots of charming features. On our arrival Jenny made us feel very welcome and she looked after us well during our stay. Excellent breakfast! There was ample parking. The location is brilliant as it is within walking distance of the village and the Lanivet inn where we had dinner.

We agreed with some of the other reviews, that it a bit quirky in parts. Bits are a bit old fashioned, but everything is very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Only real negative was that things that would be easy and cheap to fix were not done, things like squeaking doors and replacing blackened silicone sealant around the bath.|There is a pub about 10 minutes walk away serving good beer and food. Never used it, but I believe the chippy across from the pub is also OK.|Generally happy and would stay again.

Beautiful guest house with lots of history. The grounds of the house are beautiful with a tranquil stream running through. Jenny the host was very welcoming and friendly, also able to cater to all my dietary requirements. The rooms could do with a lick of paint but it adds to the charm really. Plenty of parking and well located close to the A30.

We stayed for one night this week at St Benet's Abbey while exploring the area and visiting relations & from the moment we arrived we felt totally at home. Jenny & her team are so welcoming and caring & really made our stay absolutely wonderful. The Abbey is such a beautiful building with a bell tower behind which we could see from our room at the rear of the hotel. We walked down the footpath from the front of the hotel to the village of Lanivet which took just under 10 minutes where we had a lovely meal at the Lanivet Inn. The room was nicely furnished & the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with granola & fruit juice to start then I had smoked haddock with scrambled egg followed by toast & coffee served in a lovely dining room. ||Thank you so much Jenny & your team for making our stay so wonderful

This is a good B&B but slightly surprised by the number of outstanding reviews. Our room was ok, but nothing special, quite basic and dated but very clean. The beds could have been more comfortable, mattresses need replacing. The breakfast was very fresh, generous with a decent selection. The quality was fine but not outstanding. For over ÂŖ100 a night we expected it to be better. Overall it was fine for 1 night but unlikely we'd go back.

My elderly father and I spent the last three nights at this B&B. We loved it. In fact, as we drove home this afternoon, I asked Dad if there was one thing he'd like to see improved. He said no. Twice.

It's a great location for seeing different parts of Cornwall. It's an amazing setting -- the aged abbey. Jenny (one of the owners) and Dani (the general manager, breakfast cook, room cleaning person) are delightful. The breakfasts were perfect -- nicely prepared, nicely served, nothing was too much trouble. Their attention to cleanliness was excellent, important regardless of COVID.

We both loved our bedrooms. The beds were comfortable, the showers hot and powerful, the amenities excellent for this type of B&B.

We would definitely stay there again, and hope that's possible.
