I had read up in advance regarding the history of this hotel but never expected to actually feel it, which is what happened. The actual building and grounds are beautifully maintained and have been restored with such love and respect.||Our room (on the mezzanine floor) was lovely. The old fireplace and view to the park gave it a special feeling. Very comfortable with a sense of luxury despite it being small. Our bathroom was huge but unfortunately had no shelf space for toiletries etc. and the shower head was far too close to the wall as well. Very comfy beds with lovely linen.||As much as we loved the actual hotel we found the staff at reception, with the exception of the one lady who booked us in, to be rather unfriendly and inflexible. We went out at 10 in the morning one day and on our way out mentioned to the lady at reception that our room could be cleaned (and we put the sign on the door). Her terse reply was that they have 'a set system and procedure and ours couldn't be done out of turn'. When we returned to the hotel 5 hours later after 3 in the afternoon and exhausted, our room still had not been done. I naturally queried this and was told that being a Sunday, they had less staff. This was certainly very disappointing coming from an hotel of this standing which only has approximately 35 rooms.

Such a peaceful beautiful hotel and great location for The Hammersmith Apollo. Lovely terrace which backs into lovely gardens. An oasis to find in busy London and a peaceful stay. Staff were helpful and polite. Our room was perfect and had all the amenities you could require.

Great room, friendly service but the hotel needs a bit an attention for maintenance. 5
The reception carpet doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in years, the lift doesn’t work so you need to walk three flights of stairs, not ideal, and definitely not for people with mobility issues.

Be aware the hotel does not have parking facilities and the local Novatel hotel is a total rip off (paid £70 for one night parking).

A very lovely hotel with a nice neighborhood, everything is nearby, the Earl court train station is a few minutes walk, and there is a park nearby. it has suck a wonderful garden. The rooms are a bit small but it’s nice for a quick stay!
There a quiet a number of restaurants and grocery stores around it as well!

We were given a gift of afternoon tea at this beautiful hotel location. We were lucky with the weather and sat in the lovely garden under the parasols. The afternoon was amazing, with a wonderful varied selection of sandwiches. The deconstructed smoke salmon sandwiches were delicious. The whole experience was great and enhanced by very kind, friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommended.

The most beautiful listed building with historic connections. Spacious, clean rooms and comfortable bed and the added luxury of a heated towel rail and bathroom floor. Room 22 facing on to the park.|The hotel boasts an impressive whiskey selection, but if whiskey isn’t your preferred choice there’s a selection of cocktails. We loved the terrace and gardens which is beautiful to sit out and spot a parakeet if you’re lucky. The staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend and would visit again.

Afternoon tea was a 4/5* experience. They clearly have a chef that knows what they are doing (food was 5/5!) let down by wait staff not really paying attention (3 episodes of trying to catch their attention with no joy because they were stood chatting to the reception desk in the doorway…at least face the restaurant while you chat?!)||It might also be a good idea for your tables for two to actually have enough space to comfortably lay out afternoon tea for two. Have to play table chess is not relaxing. ||However what really dragged the score down was the health and safety for disabled people. ||I have a disability that means I fall without warning (I’d asked for a chair with arms in the restaurant when we sat down because of this) ||Sadly when I went to use their lavatory I found myself on the floor. ||I was UNABLE to summon help as the emergency cord that was installed as a legal requirement was tied up in the air and clearly had been for some time looking at how much dust and dirt there was on it. ||Thankfully I hadn’t broken anything (but have got mild concussion from my head hitting the sink on the way down) so I managed to get back up. ||I then realised even if it had been untied I’d have been unable to reach it from floor level because the sanitary bins etc were completely blocking access. ||I was hoping not to have to leave this review as I was hoping they would reply to either my first email explaining the situation or my second email requesting some follow up (email address used was the one on their website… so they obviously don’t bother checking it) as I know the hotel industry has been hit hard in the last few years but sadly I’m left with no other option. ||Could have been wonderful but instead I was left with an £80 migraine and zero response from the hotel.
