This was a well located, welcoming guesthouse with parking. We were meant to go for the Christmas market in December but decided to delay our visit due to a storm, the owners were more than understanding and helpful in changing our booking at late notice and accommodating us.|Recommend for a friendly and comfortable stay in Canterbury.

Lovely place with parking. Rooms are so clean and spotless, lovely breakfast cooked to perfection. Sandra & David couldn't be more welcoming, nothing too much trouble. A perfect place which is a 10 minute walk to the centre of Canterbury. There is a lovely riverside walk. Close to nice places to eat and drink. But still away from the noisy centre. What more could you ask for?

We don't usually give 5 stars, but 4 stars just don't do St. Stephens Guest House any justice. When you're staying in Canterbury, we would 100% recommend to stay here! Sandra en David were great hosts. We were 50 minutes too early, but Sandra gave us a warm welcome anyway. The room was very clean! We were asked to fill in a form for breakfast for next morning, perfect system. We both had a full English breakfast, which tasted delicious. It is only a 10/15 minute walk from Canterbury Cathedral. The last day, we wanted to stay in Canterbury a little longer and David generously suggested we'd leave our car at the Guest House (parking in Canterbury itself is a struggle or very expensive).

We would definitely go back again if we visit Canterbury. It was such a lovely stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly, and the room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast food and choices were excellent. The property itself was beautiful and well maintained. The location is within an easy walking distance of the centre of Canterbury, as well as the train station. We only wish we could've stayed longer, and we will make sure to stay here again if we return to Canterbury.

I have to admit that this place enchanted us a lot. The owners were very friendly and nice. The breakfast was amazing, the room clean and cozy. Bathroom with toilet also clean. We really enjoyed our stay in Canterbury. Thank you for your hospitality.

We were lucky enough to book last minute and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend! Convenient location, very welcoming hosts, lovely house, amazing breakfast, clean rooms - everything was really nice. Used the opportunity to wander around Canterbury and spent a day in Whitstable, which is just 30 min away by bus - recommend 🙌🏻

A friendly welcoming guesthouse with clean & comfortable rooms. Breakfast, which was ordered in advance by filling in a form the previous evening, was beautifully cooked and exactly what we wanted. Location was perfect for us to be able to walk to the cathedral and explore the city centre.

Everything was wonderful. The reception was warm and friendly, rooms were clean and provided enough of what you need for a good value. Location was excellent and breakfast was fresh, filling, personalized and an excellent way to start the day. A lost art in many guest houses these days. Wife and I used this as an overnight visit to the area and are so happy we found this place. Thank you for the hospitality!
