Stable Yard Catering provided our catering for our amazing wedding day at Heaton House Farm. We started the day off with a Bridal Brunch while getting ready which was super cute and so delicious. I can definitely recommend this as it was a nice amount of food to line your stomach but it wasn't over facing especially having a few nerves in the morning. My husband ordered the Groom snack which came with beers and nibbles and he and his groomsman all enjoyed this. The wedding breakfast was AMAZING. We opted for the standard 3 course meal option which was Veg Soup, Chicken/leek/ham and roast dinner trimmings, and the sticky toffee pudding as dessert. Our guests all commented on how delicious the food was, the sticky toffee pudding in particular was a huge hit and we cannot recommend that enough. For our evening food we opted for Turkey and stuffing butties. The Turkey slices were nice and thick and the stuffing and cranberry was superb. We cannot thank them enough for providing such yummy food and impeccable service throughout the whole day 🙂

Myself and my husband got married at Heaton House Farm at the beginning of April 2024 and we couldn't recommend Stable Yard Catering enough! They went the extra mile to make sure that the food and drinks on our wedding day were perfect; they created and edited proposals throughout the whole process and were always available to answer any questions that we had and make amendments where needed. We opted for the daytime street food stalls and we were so pleased that we did. SYC created a bespoke Chinese street food stall option to go along with the pie and mash food stall and pizza food stall that we had already chosen as my husband is half Chinese, and allowed us to swap one of the desserts on our dessert stall from another menu as it was my favourite (jammie dodger blondies). They also allowed us to tailor our drinks packages to suit some of our guests who were non-alcoholic and those who were children.
The food on the day was absolutely delicious! Both ourselves and our guests loved that there were different meal options to choose from and everyone's dietary needs were catered for perfectly. The portion sizes were great but we loved that there was an option to go to each food stall to try bits of everything, or even go back up for round 2! No one went hungry throughout the day.
Hands down the best wedding food that we (and a lot of our guests) have ever had!

I think it says a lot that SYC has a 5.0 review on Google. When we went for our tasting evening before our wedding, we left the event declaring it was some of the yummiest food we have ever tasted. I tried to make a beetroot and goat cheese risotto back home but it just wasn't the same ?

For our wedding itself, we recieced many compliments from our guests about the quality and presentation of the food. Those with dietary requirements felt very well catered for and their needs respected and met. As my husband and I were eating our meal, we watched the serving staff perform a well executed dance of serving the food. It really isn't easy to get that many people fed at the same time but they carried it out so eloquently.

A special thank you goes out to SYC for making a little cake last minute for a very special guest who's birthday it was. We had bought her a little cake but unfortunately it was forgotten about during the packing process of the two wedding cakes. Our events coordinator and SYC very thoughtfully made a little cake for our guest and she was absolutely delighted. Thank you for making her special day on our special day so memorable for her and us.

Thanks for an outstanding, clear and well run service. Many who had experience of other weddings said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Thanks as well for always being there to answer questions and for helping me finalise all the numbers and dietary requirements.

The most delicious wedding caterers at Heaton House Farm. All of our food was absolutely stunning and our guests were extremely complimentary. Anna and the team at HHF were fantastic through the whole process and choosing between such flavoursome meals at our tasting was so hard. The night before our wedding we also visited The Knot Inn, specifically as its Stableyard who do the food here too and as expected it was divine. Highly recommend them for any event, or for if you're passing the pub.

Now when we say pleasure, we absolutely mean just that!!
From the minute we had our menu to chose from, you begin to realise what you are in for!
The options available, the quality, and the service is just top drawer!

Emily was our dedicated events lead for Stableyard, and nothing was too much trouble, we had a few dietary requirements that were key. Emily was quick to call, and get full details, and we had all our solutions covered. (Even when I threw a couple of last minute curve balls in the mix it was no issue at all)

Everything is covered, from table plans, requirements, and anything else you can think of.

You get the menu tasting event to attend, which in itself is an amazing evening, and really excited us for what was to come.

Forward to the wedding day, and honestly we were blown away!
The service, the team, and wow.....the FOOD!!

I can honestly say, that every guest we spoke to said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! And I have to agree!! (And this includes a chef we had ad a guest, and also a cousin who loves to eat at top restaurants, who commented that it was up there with the best)

So our compliments to the chefs, and the entire team, from dining to bar, who really were fantastic.

We would highly recommend anyone to book a wedding at Heaton House Farm, and even if you don't, go to an event to get yourself some of the quality food offered by Stableyard Caterers, you will not be disappointed!!
