Fantastic thee bedroom Cottage on the edge of Swaffham that is immaculately presented and so comfortable for a short break or annual holiday. The place has been renovated to a high standard and is full of original features. There is everything you could want EXCEPT Sky TV. We loved everything about the place and would not hesitate to return. Thanks to all, and especially Pete the painter for all his local knowledge.

The hosts were charming and the room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom also. The bed was comfortable. |All very good except I would have expected a better breakfast than cereal|And toast for £73. My friends who stayed nearby had a fab breakfast and paid less

What a little gem! We stayed for just one night whilst visiting friends in the area. Spotless room and bathroom, super comfy beds, lovely garden with seating for guests, and great facilities in the room. Everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The hosts were really nice and their little dog Dolly was an added bonus! We travelled with our dog, so having our own entrance, a spacious room and the garden was perfect. Close to Waddesdon and set in pretty Bucks countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return next time we visit the area. Absolutely fantastic value and would highly recommend.

We've just returned from the Stables @Pear Tree Cottage, only stayed one night as we were attending a funeral in nearby Winslow.|Lovely accommodation, immaculately clean, well equipped, very quiet area.|All you would need for a continental breakfast in the fridge. Views over fields.|We would stay again. Website information details local pubs etc. Unfortunately two of them didn't open on Mondays in March. We did find the Black Boy in the delightful village of Oving a 5 minute drive away.

We were welcomed by Ian, who showed us to our room and fully explained all the amenities and gave suggestions about the local area. The room is cozy, light and comfortable with a view of the deck and the gardens with fields beyond.|The king-sized bed was very comfortable and the curtains were very good quality and kept it dark, so we slept well. We didn't use the duvet provided as it seemed very heavy and lumpy, we had brought our own as we often find B & B's duvets are too hot for us.|There were plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. The fridge was well stocked for the tasty continental breakfast, plus biscuits and drinks. The room has a kettle, toaster and microwave so you can do whatever catering you wish. The table and chairs fit neatly into the available space.|The bathroom was good and clean, as was everywhere else, with a good supply of hot water. Nice toiletries provided. Larger bath towels would have been appreciated although we managed, they were nice and soft.|We loved the location with the sheep bleating away and it being a comfortable walk into the traditional English village with pond, church, pub and old buildings. Everyone we met was very friendly.|We hope to return here as it was so relaxing.

This place is a gem. The owners were so helpful with local information, the rooms were comfortable and we were treated like friends. The breakfast is everything you could ask for, my only tiny criticism is the fridge could be bigger. Highly recommend

This place was absolutely so immaculately appointed as a 50-60's style themed 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom 2 floor Cottage! Every detail was considered! There is even a washing machine tucked neatly under the pretty gingham curtain that hides the nastolic tray can as well. A manual for where everything is greets you at the front t window sill. The windows opened a bit differently but our hosts who live next door were more than accommodating! It was easy to walk up to the nostalgic corner Cafe for all day breakfast or to the butchers for fresh meats , lovely condiments or a local favorite I hope to bring to our butchers here, PEAS PUDDING. Apart from a wonderfully emotional time spent with newly found relatives, shildon is not too far from many must sees in this corner of England; Durham Catherdal, Beamish living museum and Red Car( for lemon top) to name a few. Gillian and Steven are wonderful hosts who , like I mentioned went out of there way to ensure a wonderful stay. Highly recommended by this seasoned traveler! Sorry I forgot photos if the bedrooms. The TV is a flat screen in the old cabinet and the record player works.

My sis and I had a lovely few days here. It was so peaceful, lovely scenery.|| Very comfortable beds, the quilts were light but amazingly warm. The unit was very clean with everything we required.||The shower was hot, towels changed daily, larger bath towels and a slip mat in the bath would of been appreciated, but in saying that we coped without.this is not a criticism, merely an observation.||Our continental breakfast was substantial and replenished daily.|| Excellent WiFi and tv.||Parking was right outside our unit. There was also a very nice outdoor seating area for warm barmy nights.||There were some lovely English pubs within minutes of our stay. The Bell in Winslow was our favorite.||Our only disappointment was we never got to meet our hosts to thank them for a very pleasant stay.
