This soup was so delicious I had finished it before I could take a picture ... Some say that's because android phones are famously slow.... I would postulate that is was the unbelievable creamy cheesiness that flavoured every succulent mouthful of perfectly warmed Cauliflower Soup that was a special today. It's not the first time eating here and it definitely won't be the last. You know a place is well managed when it's this consistent. Highly recommended. Beautiful walks around Bramall Hall also. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant

Lovely little cafe with a delicious selection of food and cakes. Nice views out into the park - bright with big windows. Staff have always been very friendly and attentive. The iced coffee I had on my last visit was particularly delicious.

Sorry but very disappointed as we’d been here before. We asked for a lime soda each and were told it’s not available, we settled for tea. We tried to order food but were told we couldn’t as the restaurant was full. There were three empty tables and one or two other tables were waiting. When we were able to order after a twenty minute wait we were told they’d run out of mash, this was at about 1250 in a restaurant that wasn’t full. We both decided to order fish goujons chips and peas. I’ve had this dish before but today’s wad very disappointing. The fish was three thin slivers in lots of batter. The salad was 70% chopped onion and the remainder was a piece of lettuce and piece of tomatoes. The chips and the Black Forest Gateau were delicious. We will think twice about returning, even though we’ve had some lovely meals here. Maybe we were unlucky but this was way short of what have experienced in the past.

There are different prices for indoor/outdoor seating. Expensive for what it offers. The sandwiches are very basic, the bread is so cheap(or buns). Definitely a bit more effort could go into finding a decent bread especially for the price. A pastry is 3.5£ more expensive than a coffee. Won't purchase again.

Poor attitude of staff and very unhelpful. Second class service if you're outside. For example given a shallow wooden spoon for the soup (the soup tasted very nice) and when we asked for ice cream we were told that they didn't know what they had available and if we wanted we should go inside and get scoops there. Cakes outside were plastic wrapped and sweating in the sun but we weren't allowed cake from inside! Very disappointed as we used to really rate it.

£8.85 for a cappuccino and a cake! Lots of people outside where there is a takeaway service and prewrapped cakes which did not look appetising in the sunshine. I had to eat in as not allowed cups outside. Very poor experience I wouldn't go again. Pity as the Hall and staff there were great

Although it's a nice place and the team is friendly, the service is quiet late. To have a drink the waiter said we should wait around 20 min and she forgot our order until we had to remind the guy again.

We popped in one afternoon, the coffee was lovely and my husband enjoyed the scone. However, the rose, pistachio slice was very dry.
