Nice peaceful setting just a half hour walk into Whitby. You do about half the journey on a busy road in single file, but then it’s a pleasant enough rest of the walk and you see things you miss when driving. The lodge was stunning and master bedroom was huge with big walk in wardrobe. We liked having two shower rooms with toilets. The hot tub was good but as others have said, it could be warmer. It peaks at 38.5 degrees, which seems to be average for hot tub holidays now. We highly recommend staying here.

We are the first guests to stay in Hazel Lodge, and everything is brand new and beautiful. Situated a couple of miles from the centre of Whitby, close to the park and ride and with amazing views down the valley to Whitby Abbey. The Lodge is spacious with everything you could need for your time away from home and dog friendly, too. The hot tub is amazing, the beds are comfy, and the kitchen is well equipped. We cooked a sunday roast with no problems! The owners live on site and are very friendly and helpful. The local pub is beautiful with a gorgeous beer garden and only a couple of minutes walk to get there. The resident peacocks are an added bonus, too. We're already looking to book for later on in the year. Fabulous place to unwind with plenty to do along that part of the coast. Perfect.

Stag Lodges are fantastic. We stayed in Aspen Lodge, it is first class, well equipped, immaculately clean and furnished to a very high standard. The Lodge is set in beautiful
surroundings with far reaching views over to the sea and Whiby Abbey. The proprietors have put great thought and care into this development. We had a fabulous hot tub on our verandah, which like the Lodge was top end. There is a park and ride facility close by which negates the need to take the car into Whitby, where parking is very limited. We will definitely be coming back.

Just returned from a great relaxing stay at Hazel Lodge. I honestly cannot say enough good things about it. The lodge was immaculately clean in a beautiful location with a view from the hot tub of whitby Abbey. The stables pub nearby was warm and welcoming and the park and ride made it easy to get into whitby for the day with no stress about parking. We had a fantastic stay and I'd definitely like to go back
