Treated to one of the afternoon teas on Saturday, it was filled with lots of goodies. Three of us all enjoyed it and would definitely recommend you try them out 😋 😋 😋

Went on 3rd June for breakfast and it was amazing ..cleanest breakfast I've ever had no greese in sight and absolutely loads of food and totally delicious, lovely lovely service he is like superman !! Went back today 4th June for an un booked afternoon tea ..and although he had not prepped more afternoon teas he booked us in for a couple of hours time and it was amazing ..we still have so many leftovers and the service again was fantastic and you should try the sweet shop below its great value

Tucked away, down a hall way and up some stairs (I guess hence the name) lies the most quaint cafe, with great food, a homely feel, and another one of Gatesheads untapped retreats. Come here if you like a coffee and great breakfast without being the bank. 👍😀

Only went in for coffee this time, but have eaten here before. Always a friendly welcome and very good service. Not very big inside but all the more cosy!

A friend bought me a plateau of sandwiches, sausage rolls, cakes and lots of other goodies as well as a cream tea for two for Christmas. What a lovely surprise present. Everything was delicious and I would thoroughly recommend buying this for family or friends as a treat. Thank you.

Cannot fault this cafe. Staff were amazing couldn't do enough for me at my baby shower. Cafe closed early to accommodate our private function. Staff even put a few decorations up. They just couldn't do enough for us all, would definitely recommend this cafe!

a lovely quaint cafe. The owner can't do enough for you and treated us to the left over scones before we left. Delicious chips and salads and plenty of options, including children's choices. Thank you. We will be back.
