We were very impressed with the communication with the owner before our visit. She was extremely helpful, and very welcoming on our arrival. The accommodation is delightful with very tasteful and interesting decor. It was perfect for the two of us and we enjoyed looking out to the pretty garden from the patio doors. We enjoyed our ‘continental breakfast’ each morning using provisions left for us. It was in a perfect position for easy access to the centre, and our walk from the station.

A friend and I stayed at Stamford Lodge recently for a night. We were in a twin room which was very cozy and tastefully decorated. Gemma was very accommodating and answered any questions promptly. ||The extra touches in the room, a chocolate on the water glass and a biscuit with the wide range of tea and coffee were great. ||The en suite was beautifully decorated and the room was warm and quiet.||We arrived to be welcomed by Gemma and immediately was offered a drink and a piece of cake. ||A friend who is vegan joined us for breakfast and Gemma was so helpful in ensuring that there were delicious vegan products available. ||There was a great breakfast choice which was delicious and was started with granola, yoghurt and fresh fruit.||We will definitely stay again when visiting Stamford

We had the most wonderful stay at this delightful B&B in the centre of Stamford. Gemma is super friendly and welcoming. Rooms were really great, beds comfy and we were offered hot drinks, cold drinks and chocolate cake on arrival. Breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend.

A really great place to stay just on the very fringe of the town centre. A wonderfully warm welcome from the owner, with wine and cake!
The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Don't worry about the lack of car parking as there is a public car park directly opposite.
However the highlight of our stay was the fabulous breakfast, probably the best that we have ever had.
Definitely worth a stay if you are visiting Stamford.

Gemma runs a real gem of a B & B with the warmest of welcomes as soon as you enter the door.||The most fantastic breakfast with lots of choice and cooked freshly and to order. Super comfy beds and everything you could possibly need in the stylishly-decorated rooms. ||Masses of individual touches and friendly service which you simply don't get in an impersonal five star hotel.||This really represents the very best of British hospitality.

Stayed here many times... Nothing changes... It's always fabulous. Rooms are super comfortable, breakfasts are freshly cooked and tasty and Gemma offers many other treats to make your stay extra special. Ideally placed with easy access to parking and the quaint town centre with shops, restaurants and interesting pubs. Highly recommended.

Stayed here in August 2021 as we were at a wedding nearby. An absolute gem of a place, superb breakfast (set us up nicely for the busy day ahead) Rooms were clean, well equipped and comfy. Cake on arrival and a bottle of fizz! Such a lovely welcome by the owner. Highly recommend.
