Stanton Manor was acquired by the current owners last year and they have clearly tried hard to provide quality hospitality. ||Situated within 5 minutes of the M4 motorway, the hotel is in extensive well-kept grounds. Guest rooms are larger than many and ours was south facing with the sunshine streaming in and expansive views. Our room was clean and comfortable, with both a bath and a shower in the ensuite bathroom. Many hotels have barely adequate storage space, but not Stanton Manor and we also appreciated lots of shell space in the bathroom.||We had booked a two night deal via Secret Escapes. This included bed and breakfast and £25 each towards dinner on both nights. We thought this was good value. However, there is room for improvement in catering:||Breakfast was table service with a reasonable choice of quality hot and cold items. However, although very adequate for our appetites, the single small sausage and small single slice of bacon seemed a bit portion-controlled.||The menu at dinner was the same on both nights. We could choose from either the bar menu or the à la carte restaurant offer. The latter offered a relatively short list of dishes, which looked attractive. My wife chose the duck but was disappointed that some of the expected flavours mentioned on the menu were hard to detect. I selected rump steak and have eaten much better quality, better cooked, elsewhere. Potatoes and vegetables were offered for additional cost, and we felt that the overall price was high for the standard offered, The chef seems to over-use batter as this appeared as part of several menu different menu items.||On a positive note, bar items were reasonably priced, and a friendly, cheerful young staff provided very good service.||We would go back to this hotel, but would take dinner elsewhere next time.

What a beautiful place. The manor is set in beautiful well kept gardens, rooms recently refurbished, lovely comfortable bed spotless bathroom with a great shower . Little touches like cookies with your tea/coffee placed in the room ,iron and hairdryer too.
Could not fault any of the staff who were all helpful, pleasant and willing to help.
This beautiful place was picked for my son's wedding and it was the perfect place the whole weekend.
Food and drinks were of a very good choice from Friday BBQ ,to canapes and wedding breakfast Saturday and full cooked breakfast, cooked lovely and plenty. Well done to all staff you made a very enjoyable weekend for everyone.

An absolutely stunning hotel with fabulous service||We booked as a group of 8 adults to celebrate my Mothers 70th birthday. The help from Ella in the Reservations team in the lead up to our stay was helpful and efficient. She even managed to arrange a few extra touches that really made the evening special|The service from the hotel team on the evening was perfect, smooth and efficient without feeling rushed. Nothing was too much for them||We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return

We had a great overnight stay at Stanton Manor in order to attend a concert at Westonbirt Arboretum, which is about 25 minutes drive away. The hotel is in a quiet location and has wonderful gardens to the rear, including a lawn with a gazebo for weddings. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable.

We celebrated Father’s Day at Stanton Manor as it’s perfectly situated, just off the M4 and great when party members were travelling from Cardiff and Southampton.|This was our 2nd visit, we had been for a wonderful afternoon tea over Easter and this time were keen to try Sunday lunch which did not disappoint. |We were made to feel so very welcome and the staff looked after our every need. The lunch was delicious and very good value. |The gardens are stunning and it was a very relaxing afternoon. Our son’s puppy was also able to have a fun time and enjoyed his visit!|Thank you, we will be back soon

Stanton Manor is a fantastic place to stay. From the warm welcome at check-in to the beautifully maintained grounds, everything exceeded expectations.

Our room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with a large bed and lovely views. The walk-in shower was a nice touch, and the hotel had a great balance of modern comfort and classic charm.

The food in the restaurant was excellent—well-prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Breakfast was just as good. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, making sure everything ran smoothly.

Overall, a great experience in a peaceful setting. We’d definitely return.

We stayed for two nights at Stanton Manor Hotel for a family wedding and couldn’t be more pleased with the choice of venue. The happy couple will have memories to last a lifetime.||Every single member of staff was so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.||Stanton Manor is a beautiful hotel with character and charm in glorious surroundings. Our ground floor garden room was spacious with a big bathroom yet had a cosy feel. ||The food in the restaurant was delicious and we also had a cream tea a month or two before the wedding to get a feel for the place and this too was lovely. In fact even on this pre-wedding visit the staff were so attentive and went above and beyond to show us all of the facilities.||We could not recommend Stanton Manor highly enough whether for a short stay or larger function. If you are thinking of it as a wedding venue, all we can say is for our family it was perfect.

We booked the later half of the bank holiday weekend for 2 nights for my Dad's 70th birthday as he's a big walker and I knew he didn't know this area well. |The hotel couldn't have been more lovely and welcoming, even having a balloon in his room as a small surprise. |They were great at communicating with me and letting me set up his presents and some champagne for him. |We had dinner bed and breakfast and all the food was exemplary. Really nice and different menus (one was the Sunday menu) |The grounds are nice| We were going to bring our dog and unfortunately had to leave him behind but I'm gutted as he would have loved it! It was so peaceful.|Even the new members of staff, even if they didn't know the answer to something, we're utterly lovely. It really did feel like a proper escape and treat for 2 nights.
