I’m very sorry to hear that the hotel suddenly announced it has ceased operations. It was truly a wonderful place, and I would like to sincerely thank the entire staff for everything they did to make us feel comfortable and special during our stay, whether at the gym, the pool, or throughout the hotel. I’m deeply saddened that so many people lost their jobs overnight. I truly hope they quickly find something better, as they genuinely deserve it.

DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE! We are currently in a dispute with the hotel after they failed at such basic tasks such as putting gift bags out for children, cutting the cake for guests to eat, not lighting candles to prevent a fire which then there was during our main meal! Three different wedding coordinators within six months. Guests queued 40 minutes in the evening to get a drink. Half of our cards and gifts are missing, three items off tables in the bin. It goes on an on. For a premium priced venue it does not come with premium service. Our 200 guests will also soon be leaving their personal reviews and experiences after hearing the troubles we are having! Even our external wedding suppliers have said they have never seen anything like it! Please also check out the credit score. And now lying about what actually happened after we have complained. Absolutely disgraceful and not what we expected to be dealing with after our wedding.

The Stapleford Park team truly gave us a special wedding day. All of our guests commented how fabulous the food was (quote ''the best food we have ever had at a wedding''), every single member of the team we interacted with were so professional, friendly and helpful.

The service continued beyond the wedding day and the waitress at breakfast was so caring to my very elderly parents and made them feel very special.

I could go on and on.... but it can all be summed up with YOU ARE ALL AMAZING AND WE THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH 🙂

Great and friendly service. Amazing food both at breakfast and dinner. Good place for business trips as well. Only 2 things: the sauna was cold and the dinner choices could have been varied as by the 3rd day it was a bit boring. Overall we will visit again for sure!

I recently visited stapleford park hotel for a relaxing spa day with a friend, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The facilities are outdated and lack the modern comforts you’d expect from a spa experience, they really need to refurb the whole spa area. The ambiance was very old fashioned, The amenities, like the steam rooms or showers, were either not well-maintained or simply not up to the standard I’ve experienced at other spas.

While the staff was friendly and the treatments were decent, the overall environment didn’t offer luxury, it’s very old and could do with been knocked down. If you’re looking for a more modern and refreshing spa experience, Do not book .

Had a great 1 night getaway… wow factor when driving into the estate . Lovely building and fantastic views …. Food was nice and the building is like being in a period drama on ITV . Room 12 has some fantastic views and was large and spacious. Great little bar and the team was lovely but please get some potato crisps ? great Sunday morning clay shooting with ( Rutland outdoor pursuits) was great ? 5star .

This is not a luxury hotel £280 a night no way or a 4 star hotel it could be but it's in dire need of updating firstly it's a lovely looking hotel in amazing grounds but the reception area is tired and dark the hallways and particularly the stairs are very dark been painted a horrible dark green our bedroom was up three flights of stairs no air conditioning very stuffy tired looking room especially the bathroom I have posted some pictures the pool area was incredibly hot mouldy damp and unfriendly no seats outside the patio was a disgrace changing rooms damp smelly and mouldy went to the bar food only available til 7 pm £11 plus £1.68 service charge for a pint and half of peroni rip off !!!! for what I had to go to the bar to order and collect myself!!!?! Rip off food was nice to be fair but it was only burgers and chips can't really go wrong this could be an amazing hotel upgrade the pool area the bedrooms and reception area make lighter and more friendlier the grounds etc are the best part of the hotel all in all 2 1/2 stars out of 5

The room was comfortable and setting was nice. The hotel lacked in service and food. Staff were friendly, but there could’ve been more around, especially at breakfast. We waited a long time at breakfast to be even acknowledged. There was no food at the buffet and no glasses to even get a drink. They felt very unprepared (even knowing how many people are staying at the hotel). The scrambled eggs were swimming in water, which was quite off putting. Toast was cold and butter so refrigerated you couldn’t spread it. The bed spread had some questionable stains on and the spa had limited seating areas or hooks for towels. I’ve also stayed in cleaner rooms. I know these are first world problems, but when you spend a decent amount on a hotel room, you expect a certain level. Have stayed in less expensive hotels and had a much better experience.
