Had the most amazing meal tonight celebrating hubby birthday. The Seabass was cooked beautifully and I would highly recommend. Service was fab as always

This is the closest you'll get to a traditional Indian restaurant in Uckfield and it's always a great dining experience. The food is excellent and I specifically recommend the tandoori king prawn starter and their nan bread. We will definitely be going back.

I ordered the Mixed Shashlik from Star of Bengal in Uckfield for £12.95, and it was a huge letdown. The portion was shockingly small - just two cubes of chicken and two and a half cubes of lamb. That’s all I got for nearly £13.

To make matters worse, the lamb was tough and chewy, which made the meal even more disappointing. The portion size was far below what I’d expect from a mixed grill dish, and the quality didn’t help.

Extremely poor value for money. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Went here for a dinner and had a great experience the food was lovely and we didn’t feel rushed and could have a nice quiet dinner. We have also ordered from here quite a few times and never been disappointed

Great food, quiet setting, and option to eat in or takeaway. The manager is extremely friendly and welcoming. The chef is very talented and highly reputable and this shows in the quality of the food. Had a wonderful dining experience and will be visiting again when I’m in the area.

Beautiful , absolutely perfect. I licked my plate clean while i admired the beautiful scenery’s.Furthermore the young boy Shiham is brilliant , in fact his whole family is amazing. Would come again.This is a bengali bomb!

I came with my 5 kids and the restaurant was lovely, great delicious food that melted in my pallet yummy yummy in my tummy😋, My kids did have a tummy ache but that was because they ate too much of this delicious food, hahaha lol.
