Lovely homely pub with kind and happy staff. Good food at an excellent value. Atmosphere is pretty chilled 👌 I play pool here few times a month with a friend and it's typically always free during the week. Overall a lovely pub!

Absolutely love this place, looked after by Megan and James behind the bar and the chef with his skills in the kitchen. I see that this place tries there very best to keep there patrons happy to the best that of their ability, that’s what counts. If you have a problem talk to the staff and they will fix it or do their best to accomodate. My partner was locally raised and as an Australian from Perth I love the local feel and atmosphere on the number of occasions I’ve visited this local establishment.

Great friendly welcome and good service as always. Only not rated food as didn’t eat on my visit today - but have eaten here and would especially recommend their Salt and Pepper Chicken with Katsu Sauce main. 👍🥰👌😎

Always nice to visit. Staff are friendly, the food is delightful, and my dog always appreciates an item off the dog menu. Definitely the kind of pub where you don't feel guilty for just having a drink.

Only second visit, but NOTHING like our first. Ordered the two course senior option, and whilst the portion size was the small senior, as it was a Saturday, paid full price. Whilst the Bangers and mash, and the hunter's chicken was fair size, I have never seen such a small portion of fish. Two fish fingers would have contained more. See menu photo against actual. Will not be back.

Held a 40th at the upstairs function room, it was awesome, food was awesome and everyone who came loved the staff and the food.

The manager and young barman were awesome and made sure our party went without hitch.

Thank you everyone and Greene King, you should be very proud of everyone at this establishment. Very professional and helpful.

Came in to watch Premier League football, plenty of screens around. Staff made me feel very welcome. Beer was good.
