We stayed at FL this weekend and can’t speak highly enough of the experience. Before we even arrived we had a text message to confirm all was ok and if there was anything we needed. When I said we would need to book a taxi into Brighton we were told the roads were closed and offered a lift to the local train station. Which was very much appreciated. ||The room was beautiful, immaculately clean and decorated to a high standard. ||We were asked what time and what we would like for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. ||The care from Rich and Paul is wonderful and the attention to detail to make our stay perfect was noted and appreciated. ||The grounds were gorgeous and I’m just sorry we couldn’t stay for longer. Already planning our next visit. ||We couldn’t recommend FL highly enough. 5 stars all round!

From the minute we drove through the electric gates, we were relaxed and in a little countryside oasis. Our hosts were attentive, down to earth & very approachable, and nothing was too much trouble! The accommodation was immaculate & everything was thought of…an excellent standard throughout! We would highly recommend staying at stay@FL if you’re in the area!

Both the hospitality and the quality of the room were amazing! |Rich and Paul went above and beyond to make sure we well looked after at all times. We were welcomed to stay in contact via WhatsApp which made the communication all the easier. Our breakfast the next morning was delicious and we’re looking forward to returning for the evening dine in experience ? The surrounding area was beautiful but it was still only a stones throw from your nearest pub and a short drive to Crawley. We couldn’t have hoped for a better stay!

We fancied something different from the normal B&B and hotels for an event we were going to at Denbies with the initial meet up at Pease Pottage. I cannot recommend highly enough Stay@FL and its hosts Rich and Paul who are genuinely understated masters of the hospitality game. We stayed 2 nights and the room is just sublime in making you comfortable. You also have access to another room to sit and relax in which is also used as the breakfast area as well as a lovely outdoor area with table and chairs which we sat in basking in the sun. The good bits - Fabulous, detailed communication from Rich and Paul (email and WhatsApp) relating to access to property process and breakfast (of which, plenty of choice and beautifully prepared and presented) - offer to drop off (small charge but cheaper than a taxi) to local villages - very comfortable bed, very clean, great location, gated private entrance, good parking. Hosts being available via WhatsApp. The bad bits - errm none. |Just now looking for an excuse to go back. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved it here! I just wish I got to stay for longer, every part of my stay was lovely! The room itself was so beautiful and had 2 balconies, the bed was so comfortable, the decor was so cute, the bathroom was amazing! It was huge, with a hot tub, rain shower, and normal hand shower. The downstairs area was amazing too, the atmosphere they built with the decor was so peaceful. For breakfast you get a menu of freshly cooked hot food and it was delicious. But I think overall you really have to hand it to Rich and Paul, they were so attentive and kind and thoughtful! I wasn’t familiar with the area and they even offered to come collect me if I ended up stranded somewhere, overall I honestly couldn’t recommend this place more! I loved it!

We had a lovely warm personal welcome. |Our room was luxurious and extremely comfortable. I loved the window, that opened up to create a balcony effect, so you really felt the beauty of the location.|Having booked dinner we had use of the snug with its log fire, where we had pre dinner drinks, which created a lovely relaxed atmosphere.|The meal was amazing, a six course taster menu with beautifully paired wines.|Breakfast was with freshly laid eggs, I chose the beautifully scrambled with smoked salmon.|I would highly recommend.

My husband and I had a fantastic time here. Paul and Rich were such accommodating hosts who obviously work really hard at maintaining the lodge and providing wonderful customer service. The rooms are so comfortable, clean and luxurious with an amazingly large bathroom and a fantastic jet bath! The breakfast was delicious and as its a small lodge (2 bedrooms) the service is much more personal and attentive. We also had a wonderful experience having a meal in the restaurant and a massage in the treatment room. Checking in and out was super easy and we were also given recommendations of places to visit during the day. Overall, a very lovely weekend and we would definitely stay again if in the area. It was a pleasure to meet Paul and Rich.

Had a wonderful stay here with my daughter. We were thoroughly looked after and all the little details were catered for. Room was absolutely gorgeous. They absolutely went above and beyond for us, catering for my daughter who had slightly different preferences to the breakfast ones available! Nothing was too much for them and I thoroughly look forward to bringing my entire family back for a longer day next time. Thank you so much!
