We returned to Steps farmhouse B&B having previosly stayed here. The surprising thing was Sharon and Paul made us instantly feel more welcomed than ever. Perfect hosts, perfect accomodation, perfect rooms, perfect setting. The B&B was perfectly located in an area ideal for exploring by car, bus or walking. Breakfast was all you would want and more with nothing too much trouble for the hosts. We cant wait to return Mr and Mrs I Brown

My wife and I have just returned from a stay at Steps Farmhouse. We were warmly greeted by Sharon and Paul. They were excellent host throughout our time there, helping in any way they could. |Our room was very clean, warm, cosy and comfortable. Of great importance to us was that it was quiet. We slept well and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were out of this world!!! Beautifully cooked and a wide choice. |The location is great too on the A39 meaning it was easy to find and gave great access to Minhead (20 minutes or so drive) and other places in the area like Lynton. |Thank you for a lovely stay. |Paul and Eileen

Couldn’t rate this highly enough! Fantastic location within a 5-10 minute commute of Watchet and Maidenhead. Lovely, clean and well presented property with the proprietors being just as welcoming and charming. Extremely comfortable nights sleep followed by a comforting breakfast in the stunning dining room. We were also introduced to the farm next door as we have a love for animals, this really made our 8 year old daughter’s day. Thank you so very much, we will be returning.

We stayed at Steps Farmhouse in November 2024, just for one night following a break at Cricket St Thomas. Well, it put that accommodation and food to shame. The welcome on the dark wet night was so warm. The room was in an annexe building. It was so cosy. Bed, comfy chairs and little kitchenette area for tea and coffee and a bijou ensuite shower room. It was all spotlessly clean and once the extra heater was going it was lovely and warm. The recommendation of the pub up the road was spot on. To arrange breakfast, there was selection sheet for items to have for your cooked breakfast. This was dropped into a postbox before the morning each day. The dining room was laid out beautifully with everything you could wish for, including cereal, fruit, porridge pots & bread etc. This included gluten free options. Your cooked breakfast arrived, steaming hot, having been freshly prepared as chosen. Basically, we couldn't fault it and will be going back when the weather is better, so we can use the honesty bar in the summer house in the garden. Sharon & Paul are lovely friendly and attentive people. A fabulous place to stay

We were given a very warm welcome on arrival at Steps Farmhouse. Our room was comfortable and very pretty; all amenities catered for from tea, coffee, milk etc to all toiletry needs and washing up items. Better than a 4 star hotel! They have a lovely well kept garden to sit in of an evening, with a honesty bar in the summerhouse.
The breakfast menu is large and varied and cooked breakfast is amazing. We have already recommended Sharon and Paul to friends and family; and if we are that way again will most definitely stay with them rather than look elsewhere. Can't praise our time with them enough!

Just spent a fabulous two nights at Steps Farmhouse while walking sections of the South West Coast path. We stayed in the family room which was warm and comfortable, immaculately presented with everything you could need - including tea, coffee and biscuits; milk in the fridge; a very comfortable bed and even a drawer of things you may have forgotten! The hosts (Sharon & Paul) were extremely welcoming, providing advice on places to eat and answering pre-arrival questions rapidly by e-mail. The gardens were beautifully maintained and the cooked breakfast absolutely superb. I would definitely recommend this B&B and hopefully have the opportunity to return if I am down in Somerset again.

It’s advertised as a Farmhouse B and B and that is what it felt like. Our room was a cosy annex full of quirky charm. It was warm and inviting after a long journey. Sharon and Paul were warm and friendly hosts and instantly made us feel at home. It wasn’t the biggest room we’ve ever had but it had everything we needed and more, lovely little touches that make you feel welcome.|Breakfast was superb with all the usual options available, set in a recently upgraded dining room that had a real country feel about it.|The property is clearly marked and easily visible. Parking was easy and plentiful. Pricing was value for money.|A real gem of a find. Highly recommended.

Excellent bed and breakfast, couldn't reccomend it enough. The rooms are a lovely size with mini fridge,tv, wif, en suite and separate coffee/tea making area. The breakfasts are to die for, they are fresh, filling and so much choice.|The bed in the room was extremely comfy and the pillows and quilts felt so luxurious. |The property isn't far from Dunster and other pretty villages,with minehead also being near.
