Enjoyed a brilliant 3 night stay as our partners peddled around Suffolk and we ladies did the sightseeing and tearoom trails. Needed the 3 nights in order to work our way through the many breakfast options! We were welcomed with tea and delicious homemade cake every afternoon. Safe storage for bicycles provided. Mine hosts David and Paul couldn’t have been more obliging.

David and Paul's lovely BnB is is sited in beautiful peaceful surroundings. They received us with a very warm welcome and their hospitality was second to none. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable and supplied with toileteries, fluffy towels and quality bed linen. The window of our room looked out over a large tranquil garden. The dining room and guest sitting room were well furnished and both had a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast menu was the most extensive I have ever seen in a BnB with all tastes and appetites catered for - it was beautifully cooked too. They gave us lots of information about what we could see and do in the area and had suggestions for places where we could enjoy good evening meals. We had a most enjoyable and relaxing stay and highly recommend Poplars Farmhouse.

A hidden gem in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. |We were made very welcome by our hosts with a cup of tea and a slice of cake. |We were shown to our, ‘Gardenia Room’ up a flight of stairs from the breakfast room. Our room was large, considerately decorated and smelled fresh and clean. After a comfortable night, we went downstairs for breakfast which, is taken at a large table with the other guests. There is a good choice for breakfast which, should cater for all discerning tastes. All items, were possible, are sourced locally. |We didn’t have time to explore the gardens but, they are well manicured and in the best of weather would be a lovely place to sit and relax. |If you want solace and a place to spend time to recharge, we would thoroughly recommend the Poplars Farmhouse.

Fantastic b&b, hosted to perfection, with absolute attentiveness to the guest experience, from recommendations for walks, pubs and sightseeing, to ensuring we had fresh milk each evening and morning. Wonderful property with tons of character and history set in idyllic and peaceful surroundings. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of home made and locally sourced produce, beautifully presented with real attention to detail and care. Highly recommended

What a pleasure to be back for our 5th visit to this beautiful farmhouse. We love coming here it's so relaxing and the hosts are friendly and welcoming. On arrival we were offered homemade cake and super coffee very flavoursome. Our room the panelled room spotless clean and tidy with super decoration big comfy chairs and a well stocked tea tray. Simple toiletries provided and lovely soft fluffy towels. Bed is extremely comfortable and great pillows. |A wonderful breakfast with plenty of options and catering for all dietary requirements. Cooked breakfasts omelettes selection of cereals fresh juice and fruit and natural yoghurt. Brown or white bread and a varied choice of jams.|The hosts here go out of their way to make your stay special.|We will be returning very soon.

A wonderful place to be!! We just stayed three nights but would have wanted to stay much longer: the house, the garden, our room “Gardenia”, breakfast, the birds and squirrels in the garden everything was perfect, not to mention David’s hospitality, helpfulness, good advice and great sense of humour!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Poplars Farmhouse. David and Paul were so welcoming and hospitable it was a truly lovely place to stay. It was quiet and secluded within beautiful grounds and only a short walk away from shops and restaurants. Our room was lovely and bed so comfortable. Each of the rooms were full of character and very clean. Breakfast the following morning was wonderful. They had an extensive menu and we were able to have a freshly cooked breakfast as well as continental options. I ate so much but it was worth it. The presentation was beautiful too! We had a lovely and relaxing time! Thanks for having us!
