I visited for the Boodles tennis, having been there several times before and I was quite impressed with the service and food area. However, this year, the service was poor and the food just as bad. Previously the food was excellent with a good choice. Horrendous queues with only one food stand and one coffee stand. The new owners really need to do better at these functions.

Attended the Boodles event here for the first time. Amazing day out, wonderful staffing, beautiful surroundings, and a sumptuous lunch. It's definitely a long overdue bucket list item that is satisfactorily now ticked ?✔️

This place is absolutely gorgeous. Attended a wedding here and it is perfect for someone looking to have an elegant one. Lovely outside seating looking onto gardens and a fountain. The rooms are very comfortable with all the necessities. The bridal suite was very spacious, especially the bathroom!! (The bath was almost like a mini dipping pool!). Interiors in the main hall are gorgeous, my personal favourite were the chandeliers.

A beautiful place on beautiful grounds. A great experience. Needs some polish on customer service and a few upgrades here and there. Beautiful spacious bathrooms. Bed was a little lumpy and needs upgrading. Historic location. Dinner was good. Biggest complaint was the check-in experience. No valet waiting to take our car--our check-in and our request for valet were greeted as a bother. Our tea wasn't brought to our room as offered. Ice was melted in the champagne bucket so champagne was warm in our room upon arrival, too. Just the place is nice and quiet. A welcome luxury after a few nights in the countryside.

In a hotel hospitality of the staff is huge and this hotel did not disappoint. From check in to check out including the bar and dinner staff all were very helpful and pleasant - and mostly very competent. But effort counts and they were working hard.

The grounds were well kept up and beautiful. There was quite a bit of renovation going on which took away from the potentially majestic interior space in the main building, but that's OK. At least the painters stopped when we were eating breakfast.

The room however was not good. First it was pretty worn down, but mostly it wasn't clean. A dirty spoon with the coffee set up, the bathroom door had a splatter of what I hope was coffee and the shower tiles needed a good scrubbing. The hand shower had a huge leak in it so at a certain angle more water came out of the handle than the nozzle. The air circulator came on what seemed like every 10 minutes for 30 seconds during the night so it forced me to just turn it off.

So, staff 5 stars, grounds good as well, unfortunately room cleanliness 1 star.

We stayed here for a weekend in September and loved it, we shall have to return. Most notably the staff were all friendly and helpful and the sports facilities were excellent. The gym is enormous and looks out over the grounds and tennis was brilliant fun indoors or outside. We had a dip in the pool, also good but time limited due to Covid. ||We loved our breakfasts in the Orangery and dinner was good though slightly lacking atmosphere. ||The pavillion room was ok, nothing special. We would stay in the main house if we came again as you have to walk outside now anyway to access the spa. Oddly the second floor rooms had sloping ceilings and a 4ft wall outside the window blocking what would otherwise be a wonderful view. As they only built the pavillion 20 years ago this seemed an odd design flaw. The grounds, pond and local area were spectacular. We normally stay at the Grove but Stoke Park just wins out overall. A really enjoyable break thanks

Stunning building set in amazing grounds. On a arrival we had sandwiches in the lounge by a fire which was lit as soon as we sat down. Dinner in the Gourmet Restaurant was first class. Service & food perfect. Although our room wasn't huge it had everything we needed & was very well presented. Will definitely return for another night in the near future.
