We held a large family celebration lunch at Stoke Place last weekend and can highly recommend for special events and family gatherings. ||The team took fantastic care of us to ensure everything ran like clockwork prior to arrival and throughout our time with them, and were very attentive. Every member of staff we spoke to really seemed to care about us having a great time and took real pride in their roles. A special call out to Juliana and Joanna who really went above and beyond to ensure our gathering was memorable for all the right reasons. ||The food was delicious and the grounds of the hotel are so elegant and beautiful. After our meal we were able to wander around the grounds and make the most of the beautiful surroundings, capturing precious memories with some lovely family photos.||We had a fabulous time - thank you so much for looking after us so well to all the team at Stoke Place!

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, it has an amazing lake and a big territory where you can go out, amazing views, delicious food. The service was fantastic by the chef Sylvester. The hotel is beautiful and there are flowers everywhere. It’s great for families and couples! Very cozy, peaceful and pleasant!!!

We stayed in one of the garden rooms and were extremely disappointed with the condition of the room. It was absolutely filthy. There was visible dust and dirt, throughout,it felt so unclean that we didn’t even unpack our clothes during our stay. We simply didn’t feel comfortable using the room properly because of how dirty it |was. ||The bathroom was also dirty with visible dust, hair and grime in multiple areas and it was clear it had not been properly cleaned. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and this fell far short.||I wish I had read the reviews before booking as it turns out many people have said the same thing about the cleanliness, with management always replying that it will be looked into – but clearly, nothing has changed.||Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I would not recommend staying here, don’t be fooled by the photos online, spend your money elsewhere.

We celebrated our wedding in June 2024 at Stoke Place, and overall, it was an incredible experience. The service was absolutely outstanding - every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. The wedding itself was beautiful, and everything ran smoothly, thanks to their professionalism and attention to detail.||However, while the event spaces were gorgeous, many of our guests had issues with their rooms. Several rooms felt quite tired and a bit run down, and there were multiple reports of maintenance problems that took away from the overall stay. It's a shame because with a little investment in the accommodations, this venue could easily be perfect.||Despite this, the amazing service and wonderful wedding day made it a truly memorable occasion, and we are so grateful to the team who made it happen.

We got married at Stoke Place in August 2024 and had the most perfect day. ||We chose the location after viewing a number of other style venues across Bucks. It just had so much to offer: plenty of accommodation for our guests, a beautiful ballroom for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, gorgeous outdoor scenery with lots of special places for our wedding photos (we were lucky with the weather but even inside there are lots of great spots), a delicious menu to choose from, great bar and dance floor area, plus lots of outdoor seating and space for garden games to keep guests entertained all day. ||We couldn't have hoped for more on the day, the staff were attentive and met all of our needs (a particular shout out to Simon who was amazing helping out with our family's accessibility needs and Patrick who ensured timings were kept according to plan and the whole day ran smoothly). ||We attended a wedding fair at the venue and were also introduced to some of our chosen suppliers who were also fantastic. ||We hope to come back and visit again. Perhaps to celebrate our first anniversary! ||Definitely recommend this wedding venue, it ticks so many boxes!

We held our wedding at this beautiful venue last weekend and had lots of family and friends staying from the Friday night through to the Sunday. Everyone was amazed by how beautiful Stoke Place is, particularly the stunning grounds, and the exceptional service we received from all of the Stoke Place team who went above and beyond for all of our guests. We had lovely family dinner on the Friday evening and the food and service was fab. Our wedding was on the Saturday and everything went perfectly and was totally stress free and seamless thanks to Tracey, Renato, Marco and their fabulous team! We had the most wonderful wedding day with very happy guests, many of which said that they would definitely be returning to Stoke Place in the near future.||A beautiful venue with amazing service from an exceptional team!

Stoke Place looks lovely when you arrive, set in beautiful grounds with a lovely reception room. The man on the desk was very friendly and gave us instructions to our "Garden Room". ||Unfortunately this is the only positive thing I can say about this place. At £150 a night I was expecting anything extravagant, but the least you can expect from any hotel room is for it to be clean.||The room was very dirty, and looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned for quite some time. There was a pile of dust by the door, the floor had black engrained dirt, the walls were marked with tea bag (and goodness knows what else!) stains, and every surface was dusty. We didn't step foot in the bathroom as you would have needed your shoes to shower, it was just filthy. I wish I'd had taken photos, but honestly we just wanted to get out of there. I very politely handed the keys back to reception, who didn't really care and said there wasn't any option of a refund

We have stayed several times and enjoyed it. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food is tasty. Special mention to Remato who looked after us in the restaurant. And Juliana Benetton who helped us. Small point, there's an issue with the plug in the wash hand basin that has been there since our previous stay. Thank you
