A beautiful and unique boutique hotel. It has the WOW factor as soon as you walk into the welcoming Reception Hall with the fire place and grand staircase. |We stayed in the delightful Judge Melish room, with a very comfortable bed and a powerful shower. |The hotel is perfectly located a short stroll from the centre of Maidstone. We stopped over en route to the Eurotunnel which was an easy 40 minute drive from the hotel. |The host gave us a warm welcome, he even gave us a guided tour of the house. It is full of history. |We would happily stay again.

It was the second time I stayed at Stone Court House, an amazing family house located in the heart of Maidstone so only a short walk away from the stations and all shops. Just like the first time, I was offered a free upgrade to the Judge Huddlestone room. The room was spacious (including a big bathroom), perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. The owners--Belinda & Saban--did their very best for me to have a most pleasant stay and always respond in a matter of minutes. In other words, Stone Court House offers a unique experience, a trip through history, and is worth every penny. Could not recommend enough!

Different. I mean that in the absolute best sense of the word. From the small red door to come in, to taking my shoes off inside, the classical music playing on entrance, the beautiful fireplace and welcome area, the suit of armour, the staircase, the 4 poster bed, the free standing bath...I could go on and on but this is possibly my favourite hotel I've ever stayed in. ||The balance between being true to it's heretige and yet being warm, comfortable and good WiFi were outstanding. What the family have done here is superb. I had a guided tour of the well downstairs and the back rooms and I would push you to explore the hotel when you stay, sit in the dining room and take it all in and enjoy your time there. ||One of the rules is no take aways in your room because of the smell and mess, normally I would always have my breakfast or order a takeaway at night but here...I didn't want to, I wanted to sit in the dining room and just take it all in. I never come out of my room when working away. The bathroom and decorations throughout the hotel are stunning also, just true and authentic but at the same time so clean and modern. ||What would I change - A water fountain somewhere and some larger spoons in the dining room for breakfast (maybe I missed them). But that is absolutely clutching at straws and I'm sure (in fact I know) if I would have asked, I would have been given one. That is absolutely the smallest of small nitpicky things ever. The hotel rules. Stay there. ||I created an account here to post this. But don't all stay there, I want to be able to get a room when I need to go back.

The building was really interesting and there was an account of how it became a hotel in the welcome folder. My room was big but cosy. There was a palatial bathroom and everything was sparkling clean. I went next door to the Italian restaurant which was great. I liked the fact I could take fresh milk from the fridge in one of the reception rooms.Friendly helpful host.

Stone Court House is an amazing place to stay, absolutely wonderful, a superb cultural and historical experience. It was impeccable, perfectly clean, beautifully decorated, warm and cozy, whilst also very spacious. Only issue was the internet connection kept falling in the room I was in so not great for work meeting but perfect as a leisure experience!

Absolutely beautiful hotel - the decor is stunning and the rooms are luxurious & clean. We arrived late, but met one of the owners in the morning and he was lovely. ||Our main gripe was the shoes off rule - not that we minded that, but the foyer was very dark when we got there & there was no chair provided to sit on and take our complicated boots off before we came in! ||The website also needs to provide updated parking info - the Euro car park that was mentioned in the check in guide either no longer exists, or isn't on maps, and there doesn't seem to be a parking page on the website despite the check in info saying there was. We were originally coming in a van so spent a lot of time trying to figure out where we could park a 2m high vehicle - we gave up in the end and borrowed a car, so the Mall Multi Storey was fine.||We had a good night's sleep, there was a bit of road noise but ear plugs were provided and it's what you'd expect being so central. Overall we had a lovely stay and would come back - in less complicated shoes! 😂

I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when travelling for work in Maidstone. I love everything about the hotel, its history, decor and the architecture. The service is over and above provided by Saban & Belinda. Thank you as always and see you in June
