First and foremost, Dave and Carol are wonderful hosts, beyond any expectation, helpful and kind, I can only talk about them in superlatives. The rooms are clean, comfortable, the cottage has a great location, the breakfast is cooked by Dave according to the guests wish. I felt at home, and will return again. Thank you very much for making me smile every day 🙂

I don't often leave reviews, but the accommodations at this B&B were perfect. Very comfortable, and great breakfast. The hosts were very friendly and helpful in providing directions and suggestions. The location was ideal with great access to hiking trails, the town park, train station, and motorways. Visitors must stop for a pint at the quiet neighborhood pub next door. I will definitely be staying here again!|Denny

I'm native to Telford, but live in Warwickshire (20years).|I have business about 2 miles away from Stone House, every 3months for 2weeks at a time.|I've tried most of the local hotels, but I'm delighted to report that the Stone House beats them all... hands down!|Cerebral Palsy affects my mobility but I do have some walking capacity. The room I was allocated was great to move around, very clean, tidy and fresh!|Room access includes a low step and a low step in to the shower.||Dave & Carol and great hosts.||I will be back!!!||Dave.

Carol and Dave are incredibly friendly and welcoming. As a young person who stayed for a month away from my parents for the first time, they made me feel at home, safe and comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something cosier than a normal hotel.||The train station and town centre are reasonably nearby and there are pedestrian paths that take you there. The university campus is a few minute walk so perfect for students and staff. The pub next door is also very friendly and lively even on a weekday! Lovely food and lovely people.

This is our second time visiting the Stonehouse. Both times we have been it's lovely! The hosts are both so kind and welcoming! |I have celiac issues and they got me food in especially for me which is so kind too! The rooms are very clean and have everything we need we never need to ask for anything at all but if we did we know it wouldn't be a bother! 10/10 great experience! Breakfast is always brilliant too hats off to the chef! Thank you again for a lovely stay. Hopefully see you soon if not, have a fantastic trip around the world!

Me and my wife stayed here for 3 nights and it was a lovely room was clean and quiet and Carol and Dave was great hosts I would recommend daves breakfast was lovely I would highly recommend staying here and we would again thanks Carol and Dave, Stuart & Melissa

Fantastic short break. Lovely couple who made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Delicious breakfast, piping hot ! Special dietary requirements were well catered for. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A lovely, great place, Dave and Carol were very welcoming and friendly, both in the booking and during my stay. The room was brilliant, exceptionally clean and had everything I needed to make my short stay easy and stress free.
