Stayed here to attend a wedding. Susie and John were superb hosts. Welcoming and extremely flexible with my needs. John kindly chauffeured me to the venue. And I ended my stay with a delicious full English breakfast cooked by Susie. Thank you both.

Susie and John couldn’t have made my stay any more welcoming. They made me feel like part of the family and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was flexible to your requirements. I would definitely recommend the Stone House

Met with musty smell. Dated decor and mishmashed. Landlady very nice and welcoming.room had no door on lock had no heating and was cold. Tv in a cupboard with a door that kept closing. Bed comfy and nice duvet. Breakfast was ok but expensive. Was locked out for several hours....was refunded twenty pounds but a higher refund would have been better. Expensive for what it is. On street parking only. The tv was only on robust so very limited channels. I would not stay here again as can book other rooms and breakfast cheaper elsewhere and stayed here because was very close to where I was working I wished I’d of stayed elsewhere and travelled bit further

We stayed at the stone house for a night for a friends wedding. It was very warm and comfy and felt a bit like a home from home. The owners were totally charming and breakfast was absolutely delicious. A really lovely place to stay.

Booked this place for a Saturday night stopover while attending a wedding at nearby Sulgrave Manor. The location is perfect, only five minutes walk from the venue. Unfortunately, for our visit, the couple who own the house were called away and would not be able to attend during our stay. They emailed us to inform us of this and also to let us know that because of this there would be no hot breakfast available. They also requested an 'accurate' check in time. Although just around the corner it was very difficult to give an accurate time as the wedding was an all day event and this would mean us disappearing at an opportune moment that could not be predicted. I sent a time slot of between four and five thirty pm. This was OK'd. |With things running later than predicted my wife dashed off around five pm to check us all in. |We booked two rooms. Our rooms were ok. They were rather cold but because of the time of year, we were told, it was hard to judge wether to put the heating on or not. In retrospect, 'on' should have been the decision. The bed was comfy and we slept reasonably well. There were few power points which were compensated by multi port extension leads that had no pat testing information on them. ( I do not know if this is a regulation for B&Bs or not ). The bathroom was shared. Spacious but with tired decor. The breakfast ( for us ) was cereal, toast, fruit and tea. During breakfast we were asked how we were going to settle up. It would have been nice to have finished breakfast before this was brought up. The lady who served was very pleasant and polite. Considering this was a late booking, we were grateful for somewhere to stay. However after hearing prices from friends who stayed elsewhere, it was twice the price of some and they had a fried breakfast. We paid £195 for two rooms but to be honest, if in line with reports from friends at nearby B&Bs, half of this price would be acceptable. I have given this venue two stars, mostly as I didn't feel we received good value for our hard earned money. |

Susan and John welcomed us into their beautiful home and they couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend them. We would stay here anytime in the area.

Beautiful quiet place. Lovely b n b. Very clean lovely breakfast. Ronnie lovely lady very helpful. Definitely recommend to everybody. Lovely garden lovely village nice people. Ideal spot 20mins from silverstone
