Liked: Personally welcomed by site owner who explained where everything was and where the best spot to pitch up was. Informed us what was available, gave us his number in case we needed anything.
The site itself is beautiful and has stunning views from the top field, we went on a day that was quiet, which we liked, as it was our first family camping experience and having the site to ourselves made it that much nicer. Fire pits are available to buy on site and there is a toilet and drinking water available.

Liked: Spacious pitches, clean toilet, friendly host, reasonably priced, well signposted. Good as an overnighter on a long trip

Disliked: No rules around quiet time. Groups were drinking and being noisy until 3am so sleep was disturbed. Wouldn't stay again with kids for this reason, but if you're looking for a venue that will offer that ethos then this would be ideal.

Steven provided a warm welcome and explained what he's aiming to do with the next phases of setting up his campsite. For the views, service and price, couldn't ask for much else on our stay. The amenities are a work in progress but that's expected with a new site like this. Will visit again with the family.

A great 'back to basics' campsite. Steven (owner) was extremely helpful and accomodating. We look forward to the development of the site and will be back.

Liked: We had a good quiet time together, we enjoyed the wild camping aspect and will likely book again. The farm owner was kind and personaly pointed out all the facilities.

Liked: turned up a bit early was checked in i was told to follow the man around he showed me were everything was also told me a good spot to pitch very polite and friendly we were left to pitch he came back early evening made sure everything was ok was very windy that evening and raining sadly had to cut the 2 day break early as 7 am in the morning tent broke to poles due to heavy winds the bloke phoned us up and we told him we will return on a better and less windy day

Disliked: nothing all was really great

When we went camping for the weekend there was some great views of the countryside and when it got dark we had great view of the stars sitting around the camp fire, the staff on the site where very helpful and friendly I'll be coming back great place.
