Linda and Roger are excellent hosts, they were very accommodating when we thought the ferry would be delayed. We stayed in the Red Suite and it comprises 2 bedrooms and an enormous bathroom. There are lots of nice touches everywhere and the light breakfast was really nice ( I counted 22 different cereals). We will definitely stop there again.

Charming experience at Stonelands! Linda and Roger were super friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and history of the house. It has a very calming atmosphere... The house is full of history and there are historic photos displayed in the grand hallway which leads up to the first floor landing with a dreamy Victorian circular roof lantern. The gardens are magical, huge mature trees and a wooded garden around the rear of the house. The owners are doing a great job conserving the old house in the form of a b&b and telling its story!

We stayed for 2 nights in this wonderful B&B. The house is full of History and the host Linda is happy to tell you all about it. The grounds are vast and we even saw a red squirrel in the garden. We stayed in the Red Suite which comprises 2 Rooms & a large bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms well equipped. Breakfast was a continental one with excellent choice. Both Linda and Roger are very helpful and friendly. There were no downsides I can think off, other than it was a little difficult to find and the signage not so distinct. We rate this 10 out of 10.

We where looking for a 3 adult room for girls reunion get together. This beautiful house is packed with lots of history that is displayed around the house and usefully in the welcome pack too if you want to see it, very interesting. We where very late arriving on our first night, but where warmly welcomed and shown where the dining room was and a gorgeous cosy lounge that is available for our use while staying. We where in the Cottage Suite which is on the ground floor, and is a big room with a single and double bed along with wardrobe, chest drawers book case full of a great selection of books we could browse! The toilet is separate from the large shower room. These are situated in the old consulting rooms used by a previous owner who was w well know surgeon on the Island. ( he had operated on one our mothers back in the late 1960's !! As it turned out ) ||Plenty of lovely fluffy towels, tea, coffee with a biscuit,! Lots of space for us, and beds very comfortable and good bedding. We all slept very well and no issues with being too hot as we could open the windows. Toilet clean with extra toilet rolls and shower room had sample size toiletries , including disposable shower caps. ||Breakfast is 9.00-10.30 in the dining room and is a continental , in that it isn't a cooked breakfast . Tables are set up with orange juice , fresh fruit salad. Then a choice of cereal, about 10 different ones. Yoghurt also available. You are served tea , coffee, decaf or fruit tea, these are left out in the dining room for you to take to your room if you prefer them to usual teabags in there. We are also served brown/white / granary toast with jam, marmalade, marmite and other spreads on offer too. Plenty to set us up for the day it had to be said. And offer of extra of anything as well.||The house is absolutely beautiful it feels so warm and welcoming and the owners are the same and want to share the house and it's history with you ,we just didn't want to leave. ||The gardens are for your use if you want to sit outside in the evening with plenty of seating sprinkled around and the fact you are so close to a main road isn't noticed as there are trees and landscaping around the house and in the garden that make you feel like you are in the countryside.

Situated on your right as you travel from ferry in the direction of Ryde, the entrance to Stonelands... in amonst a group of towering trees...is easy to miss, but look for the yellow sign in the green of the hedge and you have arrived.||An old house built around 1870 and spread over a couple of floors the B and B is run by Roger and Linda. Very spacious facilities with high ceilings, thick fitted carpet with large well equipped rooms. ||The secluded gardens attract numerous species of birds and even red squirrels. The gravel driveway provides plenty of parking. Some road noise from the main Cowes to Ryde road outside but its not intrusive.||The cream carpets throughout mean there is a "no outside shoes" rule inside the B&B. Continetal breakfast only is served, so no " full English" if that is your preference.||Close enough to Ryde to make a walk into the town not to much of a chore and on the main bus route to Newport, Ryde and East Cowes.||We had a very comfortable few days in Stoneland and were extremely well looked after by Linda and Roger. Recommended.

We booked only a few days in advance but were lucky to get the blue room, overlooking the mature, large garden. Little details were so well thought out, the bedside bottle of water and glass, gluten-free options and fresh fruit salad at breakfast, information about things to see on the island, etc.||||Handily , the house is on one of the main bus routes which makes it super easy to get about if you don’t have a car . It’s also about two minutes walk away from a pub which does a perfectly adequate meal and also stocks some locally made products to buy. ||About 20 minutes on the bus to Osbourne House, 10 minutes to the Ryde seafront. Thank you, we would definitely return.

Absolutely wonderful. Been a few times now, almost once a month since January (so 5 visits at time of posting). The people who run this b&b are friendly, welcoming, helpful.... I couldn't ask for better!
I'll always go back.

The rooms are clean, the beds are so comfy- the best nights sleep I've had in quite a while!

You won't regret staying here!

Fabulous. Beautiful house and big rooms. Very friendly owners made us feel very welcome. We don't mind there not being cooked breakfast at all though an addition of some savoury options (ham and cheese perhaps) would be very welcome
