We stayed at the lodge for 3 nights in what has to be one of the nicest rooms we've stayed in. It was warm, cosy with fantastic views to wake up to. Helen left so many little extras that went above and beyond what any traveller could expect and its the perfect spot for exploring the peak district. We will so definately be back.

We stayed in The Lodge for 3 nights in May. The place had all of the basics such as shower gel, bubble bath, shampoo, eggs (from their own hens!), milk, butter, tea & coffee (instant and filter). And we had some homemade scones which were delicious. Kitchen also had everything we needed to cater for ourselves.|We had breakfast at the B&B one morning which was delicious.|Very comfy bed. Lovely shower and bath. TV with all the streaming platforms.|Great little folder with lots of info about the accommodation and local area.|Very well placed for exploring the Peak District.

My husband and I stayed at Stoney Ridge twice recently, in mid May and early June 2022.||||Our first sojourn was for 1 week in The Lodge - a fully self contained studio apartment. This apartment was certainly the best of our 4 week stay in England. It is spacious, warmly and thoughtfully furnished, well equipped for preparing your own meals (which we did - every morning and evening) and has all the basic provisions needed (e.g. tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, cling wrap, etc). The bed is very comfortable and the ensuite is huge with great water pressure. Basically - everything a traveller could want.||||Our second stay was overnight only prior to flying home. We stayed in The Den B&B room. Once again, this was very comfortable with a great bed and ensuite. The room has a small bar fridge, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities.||||During both stays, we had breakfast provided (although for only 1 morning during our first stay). The breakfast is great and very filling. There are lots of options available - cereal, porridge, fresh fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice, various cooked breakfasts, tea, coffee, toast, jams, etc. Everything you were used to getting at a traditional B&B.||||And as for the hosts, Jenny & Richard. They are warm and friendly people who make you feel very welcome in their house. They ensure that you have what you need, but are not intrusive.||||I would definitely recommend a stay at Stoney Ridge. You definitely will not regret it.

We stayed in ‘The Lodge’ which is part of Stoney Ridge. Lovely apartment with lots of lovely little touches. Very cosy and clean.||Helen and Nigel are great hosts, there if you need them. We paid to have breakfast on our last day, what a feast! £7 and so much food, we were both stuffed.||Bradwell is a lovely little village, warning that the walk back up the hill is steep! ||Thoroughly recommend.

Spent 3 nights here and had a really cosy, comfortable & relaxing time. I was travelling solo, yet made to feel so welcome by Helen & Richard, wonderful hosts who have thought of everything to make your stay perfect - excellent facilities, delicious breakfast and spotless housekeeping. What more can you ask?! The twin room has a lovely view but the self catering apartments look brilliant too, so will be recommending these to friends. Thanks for a great stay.

Had a fantastic 3 day stay here with a mate, as we used Stoney Ridge as a base for gravel and MTBing around the Peaks. Richard and Helen were v accommodating hosts, and the twin room was quiet and very relaxed. There was a cracking brekkie to fuel our daily exploits too! Within walking distance you have a coop supermarket, a fish n chip shop and a couple of pubs at the bottom of the hill. Castleton has a bigger range of restaurants, and less than a 15 min drive away too.

Just left Stoney Ridge after an excellent few days staying with Helen & Richard, in their exceptionally clean B&B I couldn’t find a fault it was perfect. The delicious breakfast was beautiful , they also cater for people with food intolerances as I’m gluten and dairy free and often find that a problem . The views are breathtaking, we would highly recommend this lovely B&B
