An amazing an fun experience on the beautiful south coast of Dorset. Welcome by friendly and professional staff, we had a sauna hut for 6 people. We booked a one hour session. The hut is clean and modern, situated close to the shoreline, so close enough for a cold dip in the sea and returning to the sauna. The price for renting is also great. Will 100% return!

Stunning location for a wood-fired sauna on the beach. The whole experience was an absolute treat, from the lovely folks that welcomed us and the cleanliness of the sauna, to the beautiful views. We can’t wait to come back!

So five star location and people but a few things:

The sauna needs to be done up inside - sweat stains everywhere and sort of residue that comes off when you sit in it too long. That’s not normal in a sauna.

The stove in the smaller sauna is way way too big a size and needs to have a sort of protector around it. To stop you accidentally burning yourself.

The timer on the inside - sand one - no longer works. This is basic and is needed to know how long you are in there.

They should have a small area at the side of the hut - could be just a basic curtain that you can change beside. Not everyone likes to have to walk backwards and forwards to the public changing room.

And a simple shower - could even be piped up sea water by the saunas.

And I say this all as a very frequent sauna user.

Lovely team though just feels a bit tired and not thought through.

Myself and a friend sea swim regularly at Knoll Beach and there's the National Trust coffee shop to warm in afterwards too. Today we thought we'd treat ourselves to a sauna as well as a swim. Wow!!! Its cosy and HOT, spotless and seconds from the sea. In addition you have the most gorgeous sea view inc Harry's Rock. We sauna'd then cooled off in the sea, back and forth several times. it felt AMAZING!!! I almost didn't want to recommend as it's almost too good to share, so shhhh, let's keep this between ourselves OK!?
