We had ice cream here. Lots of lovely flavours.

The server found it difficult to hear me over the counter and got the orders wrong.... But it was okay

The door was in an awkward place re the queue and getting in and out.

It was Busy noisy day as was the flower show. Staff were run off their feet.

We will try again on a quieter day!

Definitely wouldn’t eat here again. They accommodated my request for poached egg and beans on toast, which was perfect, but the cod & chips was only fit for the bin! The fish was hugely overcooked and dry, with burnt batter, and (obviously frozen) chips were undercooked. Was a struggle to eat any of this. Service was efficient, but our young waitress looked miserable and uninterested, even when I tried to make her smile. Such a shame, because the menu promised better food.

The owner always knows what we want when we visit. Sometimes the food is good, other times it's mediocre. The large Cappuccino is huge and really good value for money. One of the waitresses is hardly Miss Sunshine. Great to have a downstairs toilet and the place is always clean.

I hadn't eaten in this cafe for a couple of years as I had a very mediocre breakfast so thought let's see if it had changed no it hadn't same very average breakfast and of course now much more expensive. Shall never eat here again

Today, 17 February 2024, I went to this cafe with a friend. I had a cheese omelette, chips, beans and salad. My friend had breaded cod, chips, peas and salad. We ordered two teas which arrived promptly, and contained the tea bags and milk. The tea, by the time it arrived, had stewed.

My friend’s meal was unsightly! An over-fried piece of something from Iceland supermarket, whilst my food was tasteless to the extreme. Conversing with the ignorant manager, proved pointless. I’m not fluent in grunts and my use of bad manners is limited. It isn’t surprising therefore that the waitress was as ignorant. It’s all down to the training!

£21.00 for a bad experience! No wonder people go to MacDonalds!

I wouldn’t ever say don’t eat there but hopefully you will read this first!

Popped in for a sausage and bacon sandwich. Didn't have a long wait and food was tasty and served hot.
Service from staff was pleasant and friendly, tables and chairs clean and tidy, great little place to stop for a lunch or quick bite.
