Sussex Chef catered for a family celebration for about 30 people in August. This included an evening barbecue followed by a cold buffet lunch and afternoon tea the next day.

The food was delicious and plentiful with an inspired combination of flavours which everyone enjoyed. The presentation was absolutely beautiful at all times and the chef and other staff could not have been more helpful.

With Sussex Chef we were able to enjoy our party! They exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are so pleased that we chose Sussex Chef.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Sussex Chef.

Sussex chef provided catering for our wedding in June. We had 65 guests and a three course meal with the sharing style BBQ platters for starters and mains. Chloe, Helen, Pip & the team were brilliant to work with in the run up, listened to our requests and were able to be flexible to accommodate our needs. They really shone on the day - the whole team was absolutely fantastic, completely professional and knew exactly what they were doing. The service was perfect, food was exquisite, all the guests were very impressed as were we. Thank you for doing the best job we could have asked for!

We hired Sussex Chef to serve up a 3-course Christmas dinner for a group of 9 of us for our work Christmas party. The food was fabulous - exactly what we wanted and absolutely delicious. We hired Sussex Chef to cater for our garden party in June 2024. They were just fabulous. They arrived, set up with beautifully decorated serving tables, served the most delicious food and at some stage throughout the evening, they cleared away and disappeared taking all traces of their presence with them. This left us completely free to actually enjoy our party.

We chose the Mediterranean menu consisting of 5 absolutely gorgeous dishes (many guests went back for second helpings) and two beautiful deserts. So many of our guests commented on what fabulous food it was. Credit to Sussex Chef for catering to our guests' various food intolerances.

We would not hesitate to recommend Sussex Chef. They made our evening an absolute joy.

I can't recommend Sussex Chef highly enough. They were brilliant from start to finish. The booking was really straight forward. The food delivery was on time and set up so beautifully. The food was absolutely delicious, with many compliments from the guest. They provided all the plates and cutlery and even boxes to keep any leftovers. At the end of the lunch, they came and cleared everything away - it was all so slick! Everyone had a great time and I am so pleased that Sussex Chef catered for the lunch. Thank you so much.

Sussex Chef catered for our wedding in our barn. They served an amazing cold buffet and provided staff to manage and run the day for us. The food was absolutely fantastic. All of our guests were incredibly complimentary, and I heard several comments throughout the day saying it was the best wedding catering that guests had ever had. I completely agreed. The salads were light, fresh, and full of flavour with lots of herbs. The buffet looked absolutely stunning and really fitted in with our rustic wedding theme.

The staff supported the day so professionally. They got stuck in, took initiative, and followed all the instructions that I left, allowing the day to run very smoothly and facilitating everything better than I could have imagined. They did this all in a space that was not set up for weddings, and I was aware that this was not an easy task for them!

Thank you so much, Sussex Chef. I highly recommend their services and look forward to having an opportunity to use them again in the future.

We were fortunate enough to choose Sussex Chef for our family celebration. We selected a BBQ. The meats were first class and full of flavor as were the prawns. All accompanied by excellent salads and assorted breads. Finally a selection of delicious deserts.
Helen and the Chef were extremely helpful and co-operative and the portions were so generous that all 15 of us also had a Sunday lunch from what was not eaten on the night before.
All in all an unforgettably experience from a very professional and caring organisation.
